Sorry if you are frightened. Having more knowledge on a subject can
help with that.
Evolution - the great lie
"Lie" is not a very scientific word, and since you are probably
wanting to be scientific here, lets just say that evolution is a very
weak theory. That theory says that all life evolved from lower life.
Now since we have not just one or two life forms existing, but
thousands and thousands (not including all those they went extinct in
the past), from microbes to whales, then the fossil record should show
those life forms as they evolved into new ones. Darwin called them
"transitional links", and was amazed that they were not in the fossil
record. Here is what he said:
"The distinctness of specific forms and their not being blended
together by innumerable transitional links, is a very obvious
difficulty." (Origin of Species, 1902, Part 2, p. 54).
Yes, it is still an "obvious difficulty" today. They have not been
found. (yes there is an alleged handful of them, but miles away from
the many thousands they should have been discoverd by now) Thus, based
on the real physical evidence that we have, the evolutionary theory is
just that, a "theory", with no STRONG evidence to give it credence.
But the Bible in Genesis states that all living things were made each
according to its "kind". (Ge 1:24,25) Thus they were made full and
complete, right from the start. Horses were made as complete horses,
elephants as complete elephants, etc. There was no evolving that
turned it into another "kind".
So if the creation account is the way life occurred, then we should
NOT find transitional life forms in the strata, but rather whole and
complete organisms suddenly appearing. And that is what the real
evidence shows!
For example, even many decades ago, the fossil evidence told its own
story. Swedish botanist Heribert Nilsson after 40 years of his own
research said:
"It is not even possible to make a caricature of an evolution out of
palaeobiological facts. The fossil material is now so complete that .
.. . the lack of transitional series cannot be explained as due to the
scarcity of material. The deficiencies are real, they will never be
filled." (Synthetische Artbildung [The Synthetic Origin of Species],
1953, p. 1212.)

Yes, I have no way to prove that snake talked, nor even that the
account happened as recorded. (actually, Bible students know that it
was not the snake itself that initiated the conversation, but a
powerful being known as Satan the Devil who was really doing the
talking.--Re 12:9) But this is where knowledge can help. If you get to
study the Bible in more detail, you can start to get comfortable that
it is basically a book of truths. (see Joh 17:17)
For example, based on our discussions here, the fossil evidence points
to the Bible's account as being closer to what that real fossil
evidence shows, than man's theory of evolution. Thus that is one Bible
truth among many, that can help give a person faith that the other
things the Bible mentioned, esp things extraordinary' (like the
appearance of a talking snake etc) did really occur.

I don't think that's what the Bible says. I think the word "made" implies a
process that occurred over time. The word "created" would have been used to
imply something God did whole and complete all at once. There are three
places where the word Create is used and not in relation to horses,
elephants, etc.
I think part of the problem is Christians sticking to old interpretations of
Genesis. Of course, we are stuck with a translation from Hebrew which isn't
exact. It's a good thing to take scientific discoveries into account to
gain a greater insight into what the Bible really says. Jesus said two
things; "I am the truth...." and "Follow me". Seeking truths in the Bible
with the aid of science is a good thing and something God would want us to
do IMO.

- Related to nested hierarchies
- Behavioral studies
- Radiometric dating
- Radically different collection of flora and fauna
during progressive eras
- DNA and genetic data
- Related to nested hierarchies
- and recent observed events of speciation
That theory says that all life evolved from lower life.

otherwise has no idea what he is talking about or is an intentional

such, you turn it into a book of lies. That is why Young Earth
Creationism and other forms of anti-science creationism are heresies.
