<g.aedhealic@yahoo.com> claimed:
False Accusations of the Use of Force
I would like to clear up two issues.
Here's one you can clear up...
Let's look at what was happening in Glenn's marriage,
when his nuclear weapon paranoia set in...
***********************************************
He spent the next few years perfecting his craft, buying a
home in Manteca and adding twin daughters to his family.
Yet, the nuclear specter he'd witnessed off Samoa and
the darkness which plagued him as a boy stalked him still,
deepening a growing emotional gulf between Glenn and
his wife.
***********************************************
And when you supposedly figured this stuff out,
what did you turn to? Was it God? Nope!
***********************************************
Increasingly tormented by the prospect of nuclear war,
he studied the predictions of noted clairvoyants Jean Dixon
and Edgar Cayce.
***********************************************
FIRST
Randy and Dave have accused me of attempting
to use fear and force to get my wife to move out
of California.
You confessed on your web site that you tried to get her
to move with you, due to your claims about nuclear war
being spoken of in the Bible and your endless studies
spent finding it in the Bible and mapping out imaginary
nuclear strikes. According to your own web site, she
got fed up with it and left and took the kids.
Now according to you, that is "using force", since you
qualified Randy and I reading the Bible to our wives
as "force". And you said that it would be to use
"persuasion", which you claimed is "force".
And btw, you claimed that explanations are "sophistry"
and should be rejected. Yet you post this whole big
long message, "explaining" that you aren't guilty of
anything, when you most certainly are.
Can you spell H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E ???
I can... G-L-E-N-N !!!
This is amazing on two grounds:
a) According to scripture, I need make no explanation
to my wife if I decide to move my family.
Wait a minute... Lemme get this straight...
You have been railing against us, claiming that we are
taking away our wives' "right of consent" and here you
claim that you get to move your family and they have
to go, no explanation necessary?
Can you spell... H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-S-Y ?!?
I can... G-L-E-N-N !!!
b) There is nothing in my Story suggesting I attempted
to use force of fear, or God's Word, to make her move.
You showed her what you claimed you found in the Bible
and told her that you all needed to move out of the path
of destruction, because nuclear war is coming in THIS
generation.
Now tell me... is nuclear bombs a *nice* story?
Are you saying that people do not *fear* nuclear war?
Are you really going to try to convince us that you were
not thinking that your wife would be afraid, should she
believe your insane ramblings?
"Honey, there's going to be a nuclear strike. We need
to move, so we don't die. But don't worry dear, I'm
not using a fear tactic to try to get you to move. Oh,
by the way, do you want to tell the kids they're going
to die if they don't move, or should I? But hey, no
fear, right dear?"
<chuckle>
There is no specific time given in the story about when
I discovered evidence of the use of nuclear weapons
and when she asked for a divorce. In fact I did not
move until several years later.
See for yourself:
http://www.xprt.net/~servitum/main/about/story.html
<all excerpts taken from Glenn's link he posted above>
Let's see if you're telling the truth. After all, you gave
the sequence of events on your web site.
************************************************
Determined to protect his family from the inevitable
holocaust, Glenn found new purpose. Abandoning
his family to his studies each night, he scoured U.S. maps,
plotting what he believed were the most likely targets for
Soviet missile strikes. Pinpointing military installations,
ports, airports, highway and rail junctions, state capitals
and industrial centers, with a red pen he drew circles
around them to distinguish the destruction from the
safe areas. The resulting scrawl of red ink repelled him.
He decided to move his family out of the path of devastation.
The lush greenery of the Northwest had impressed him when
the USS Point Defiance paid a call to the Seattle area, and,
noting the absence of nuclear targets in western Oregon,
he began making preparations to move.
His wife, however, refused to go.
*************************************************
So what do we have so far?
1) You ABANDONED your family to your "studies".
2) You tried to move your family.
3) Your wife refused to go. I guess you did need
an explanation after all and she didn't like yours.
Oh and btw Glenn... since you're such a great prophet
of God and claim that you are right and that you have,
"the Truth", please tell us what happened to that great
big Soviet Union that you were claiming would launch
a strike against us? <chuckle>
But let's keep looking and see what happened...
*************************************************
By the early 1970's his life had careened into a maelstrom
of emotional highs and lows, from the outer fringes of
which his wife and children bore mute witness. Weary
of her husband's neglect and the incessant turmoil, his
wife asked him to move out in 1972. Perplexed and
devastated by his failure as a husband and father, he
turned his back on God, whom he held responsible,
and descended into the darkness once more.
He discovered in the group counseling he entered after
his divorce that it at least had a name--manic depression
--as well as countless other victims. More importantly,
he learned to deal with it by keeping busy, rather than
anesthetizing himself with medications, television and
sleep. He realized as well, the seriousness of his emotional
problems precluded any possibility of salvaging his family.
**************************************************
So what happened here?
1) Your emotions were out of whack.
2) Your wife grew weary of your "incessant turmoil".
3) Your wife asked you to move out, even though
you claim that your nuclear war paranoia and
asking her to move had nothing to do with
your divorce.
4) You confess that you were a failure as a husband
and as a father.
5) You turned your back on God, whom you held responsible.
6) You descended into darkness, AGAIN.
7) You discovered you had a problem and then refused
to take the appropriate medication. Apparently,
you prefer your "incessant turmoil".
8) You confess to having "serious emotional problems".
And you somehow think that we are going to think
that you are acting sane and reasonable, with your
false accusations and word twisting and attempts
to claim innocence for yourself, when it is really
you who guilty of manipulation against your family?
You let your beautiful wife and those beautiful little
children lose their husband/father, because you
couldn't control your paranoia and now you wish
to come in here and blame us for your failure?!?
I'm sorry Glenn, but your own web site convicts you!
Your nuclear war insanity and your divorce are related!
And what happened after that Glenn???
*************************************************
Eventually he moved to San Francisco, where he became
involved with another woman. Together they moved to
Oregon in 1977. Soon after the couple arrived in Beaverton,
the relationship ended, its end hastened by the same darkness
which ended his marriage.
*************************************************
Yes Glenn, as you admitted, the same darkness ended your
next relationship. And so you come in here, trying to rail
against anyone who doesn't buy your bag of crap that
you're trying to sell and accuse them of raping their wives,
intentionally changing their words and calling it their
confession. You claim that if they repeat what the Bible
says to their wives, that it is "the power of persuasion"
and is a "fear tactic" and is therefore "rape". And yet,
here you are, trying to convince your wife that she needs
to move with you because to stay there means death.
Why Glenn? Could it be because you need to find a way
to blame others for your failures, because when you
look in the mirror, you see what you have done when
you look at yourself?
You see Glenn, YOU NEED to make the Bible say that
it's all about a "right of consent", so that you can say
that it was all about your wife's choice, instead of
your paranoia! Because otherwise, you have to blame
yourself for your own failure, which is what you should
be doing!
And then, after claiming that Randy and I are trying to
control our wives, you hypocritically come in here and
claim that you don't even need to talk to your wife
about it. You just get to move your family.
H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E !!!
Oh and btw, let's look at Glenn's "mission".
************************************************
However, as the joy of discovery faded, he realized his real
work had just begun. Having determined a nuclear holocaust
would, in fact, occur within this generation, he agonized over
the fates of people suffocating in the superficial world he'd
left behind. He wasn't intent on saving souls; that was
other's business. However, if he could prove to those willing
to listen that the world would end within their lifetime, they
might be able to make the most of whatever time remained.
It was a message of hope, he believed, a wake-up call;
although he understood Armageddon is a hard sell.
************************************************
1) You didn't care about saving others' souls and yet,
that is the Great Commission that Christ gave His
disciples.
2) You try to convince us that you just wanted to make
people "make the most out of the time they have left".
So what're they to do? Go have fornication parties?
How do they make the most out of their time left,
if you tell them they're going to die soon and don't
care about saving their souls?
3) You try to convince us that telling people that the world
is going to end within their lifetime and that they're
going to die any day now, is not a "fear tactic". What?!?
Anyone can see how full of crap you are, Glenn!!!
SECOND
Randy and Dave have accused me of "Fear."
See above.
There is a normal and reasonable amount of fear
-- or should be -- in every one's life: You SHOULD
fear a truck hitting you!
But not nuclear war, right Glenn? You weren't using
fear tactics at all, when you brought up "nuclear strike",
were ya Glenn!
<chuckle>
--
The Bible is the inerrant word of the living God!
If you don't believe the Bible, don't tell me that
you are a Christian. I won't believe you. To make
that claim, is to be a heretic who does not know God.

You mean "clip because I have been shown to be

Translation, Dave does not comprehend reality.
My post was "reality". And it is pasted in below.
Your post is delusion.
I do want to thank you for the time you spent on my site... ;-)
http://www.xprt.net/~servitum/main/about/story.html
It was your own words that condemned you. That is all
that web site does.
If that story, or anything on the site, condemned me, why would I post
it?
No Dave, it is your false accusations that condemn you.
Dave, you did as I (and everyone else who has any experience with you)
expected you to do, you selected what you could distort and pervert,
quote out of context, misinterpret and manipulate as fodder for your
lies and false accusations.
I not only expected you to do it, I knew you would do it.
And I don't mind, Dave.
Do you know why I don't mind?
Because your reaction to Truth reveals you are a liar.
Because your misuse, mistranslation and perversion of the Word of God
reveals that you have no love of Truth.
Because you do the same thing (pervert and mistranslate) anything
anyone says to you... you distort the words of others to make false
accusations against them.
So, Dave, in perverting what was written about my life, by taking
selected quotes out of context to fit your false accusations, by your
lying attack on me you have revealed the nature of your soul.
You are a sick man, Dave, sick because you hate Truth. You expose your
rejection of Truth by your abusive language and violent anger against
any who attempts to communicate Truth to you, or any who dare disagree
with your false doctrines and lies.
You are so lost in your delusion, you can not see that your conduct
reveals your sick soul to all who love Truth.

<chuckle>
There is no specific time given in the story about when
I discovered evidence of the use of nuclear weapons
and when she asked for a divorce. In fact I did not
move until several years later.
See for yourself:

It was a message of hope, he believed, a wake-up call;
although he understood Armageddon is a hard sell.
<chuckle>
############### END QUOTE ###############
--
The Bible is the inerrant word of the living God!
If you don't believe the Bible, don't tell me that
you are a Christian. I won't believe you. To make
that claim, is to be a heretic who does not know God.
