Founding Fathers view on religion and christianity.
I agree with this, they followed the real spiritual God of
Freedom and
not the christian fear, guilt man made God that controls
everyone with
fear, guilt and shame which gives God a bad image and chases
people
away from wanting anything to do with God.
It really depends on how wide a net you cast when considering
founding fathers. If you only talk about Jefferson and Madison
and a few others, then you are correct.
But if you include, say, everyone who actually signed the DoI,
there were many stark-raving Christians on the list.
The Declaration of Independence was never a law adopted by any
of the three governments of the rebellious colonies. It merely
put the British government on notice that a rebellion was
formally declared.
Out of all who attended the Constitutional Convention, I'd be
willing to bet the majority of them were also devoutly
Christian.
The fact that the word 'God' never appears in the Constitution
as adopted by the final government of the USA would appear to be
significant.
The 'devout Christians' who signed it either felt that it was
inappropriate, or lost the vote.

And shows a belief in the Creator. No matter how ya
slice it, it does.

===>Lots of people and lots of non-Christians
believe in a Creator Force, without
believing in the Bible or Christianity. The Founding Fathers
certainly did not believe in declaring the new country a
"Christian Country". The exact opposite is shown in
the Declaration (Nature's God), the Constitution (no
reference to any "God"), and in treaties (declaring that
this iGovernment of the United States of America is not,
in any sense, founded on the Christian religion. SEE:
The Treaty of Tripoli passed by the U.S. Senate in 1797).
