The agrument seems to go that man created god Because of a basic need
within
for safety etc. Each culture would invent god to its' own mold. So did we
invent god or did he create us?
Recenty a cultural anthropologist has made the observation that most
cultures have similar belief systems about world events: flood ,nature of
God, a coming mesiah, creation stories etc. This anthropoligist believes
God
and history have put these in culture because these events really happened
and the similarties of these stories, In diferent areas of the world, are
difficult to explain otherwise.
Is there a redemptive God who cares about all of man/women kind ? What
thinks you ?

The word "God" represents ideals, and there are as many gods as there
are ideals. We Christians believe that our Christian God represents all
ideals without exception, for our "God is love" (1 John 4:8,16) become fully
manifested in Jesus Christ, our God incarnate. See below

"GOD" The Christian meaning of the word according to scripture:
Jesus in Jn:4:24: GOD IS A SPIRIT: and they that worship him must
worship him in spirit and in truth.
Jesus in John 14:6: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and
the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7: If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also:
and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8: Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9: Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast
thou not known me, Philip? HE THAT HAS SEEN ME HATH SEEN THE FATHER;
and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
10: Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me?
the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that
dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
1Jn:4:8: He that loveth not, knoweth not God; for GOD IS LOVE.
1Jn:4:16: And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us.
GOD IS LOVE; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Acts:17:28: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain
also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
