diversionary tactic. You are avoiding each issue that
I point out about your claims, by constantly saying
that, even when I don't say a word about Preterism.

will NOT be destroyed at the coming of the Lord,

Note what the Lord said in v21...
"I will never again curse the ground..."
God would never again "curse the ground".
Now whether it is by water, or by fire, don't ya think
destroying the ground, would be cursing the ground?

Especially if it's burned by fire, since fire consumes
and we often have to plant new trees, etc., whereas
after the Flood, things began to grow back readily
and Noah was even brought an olive leaf by the dove.
So does that "different method" idea make sense?
Look at v22. It says "while the Earth remains..."
that day and night will not cease. In other words,
God is not going to be the cause of day and night
ceasing and it won't cease. This proves that both
the "new heaven and earth" and the "Sun and Moon
going dark" prophecies are indeed symbolic language.
If they are literal and physical, as the futurists
contend, then the Scriptures contradict themselves.
And if God is going to burn the world by fire, then
He will have gone back on His word. But you don't
care about that. According to your own words,
what YOU say is called, "The Truth" (caps yours)
and those who don't believe you, by your own claim,
are "under delusion".
The fact is, that you are now trying to convince
people, that if God burns the ground and destroys
the planet, that He hasn't "cursed the ground".
You have to be a pretty desperate idiot, who is only
concerned with people worshipping him and not
with the truth, to try to twist the Bible up that
badly!

God said He would not "smite any more every living thing AS I HAVE DONE." He
makes this meaning clear when he says "neither shall there any more be a flood
to destroy the earth." So, "as I have done" means "with the waters of a flood."
God said, "While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat,
and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease." The key words are
"While the earth remaineth..."
Day and Night, the Seasons of planting and harvest, and Summer and Winter are
ALL consequences of, or results of the sun and the earths existence. Day and
Night, and seasons, do not exist separate from the Sun and Earth.
God's promise that day and night, and the seasons, would continue are based on
"while the earth remains..."
All God needs to do is remove the earth, and day and night will cease...
ACCORDING TO HIS VOW!
God WILL destroy the Heavens and the Earth. Mat 24:29-31, Rev 6:12, 11:15,
16:17, 1 Thes 4:16, 1 Cor 15:52. 2 Peter 3:3-12.
"Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons
ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting
unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be
dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?"
We will have no need of a sun or moon, and there will be no night anymore.
