what do you expect from mythology !

Biblical Christianity is not based on mythology, but
on eyewitness accounts: "We have not followed
cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you
the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but
were eyewitnesses of his majesty" (2 Peter 1:16).
"That which was from the beginning, which we have
heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we
have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the
Word of life. For the life was manifested, and we
have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you
that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was
manifested unto us. That which we have seen and heard
declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship
with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father,
and with his Son Jesus Christ" (1 John 1:1-3).

Until you can understand and tell us what
'God' is...

"I AM THAT I AM" (Exodus 3:14). "God is a Spirit: and
they that worship him must worship him in spirit and
in truth" (John 4:24). "God is love" (1 John 4:8);
"God is light" (1 John 1:5); "God is a consuming
fire" (Hebrews 12:29).

Andrew said: I guess you think the creation force
is a humanoid with arms and legs like us, and a
male.

The Creator became a man: "The Word was God. The same
was in the beginning with God. All things were made
by him; and without him was not any thing made that
was made . . . And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt
among us" (John 1:1-3,14).

Andrew said: Who's our divine Mother...? Creation
is a bit one sided without a Mother, and so is the
concept of love.

God's love is better than any mother's: "Can a woman
forget her sucking child, that she should not have
compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may
forget, yet will I not forget thee" (Isaiah 49:15).
God contains to an infinite degree all good male and
female mental characteristics, for they were made in
His image: "God created man in his own image, in the
image of God created he him; male and female created
he them" (Genesis 1:27).

He'd also be telling you which parts of the Bible
are corrupt and distorted.

There's no proof against the Christian belief that
none of the Bible is corrupt or distorted: "All
scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is
profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God
may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good
works" (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Andrew said: ...those still stuck in spiritual
kindergarten like Christians

Christians are to be child-like: "As newborn babes,
desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow
thereby" (1 Peter 2:2). "Whosoever shall not receive
the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not
enter therein" (Mark 10:15). "Jesus rejoiced in
spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of
heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things
from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them
unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in
thy sight" (Luke 10:21).
But Christians are not to be childish: "Brethren, be
not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be
ye children, but in understanding be men"
(1 Corinthians 14:20). "I, brethren, could not speak
unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even
as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk,
and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to
bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet
carnal" (1 Corinthians 3:1-3). "When for the time ye
ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you
again which be the first principles of the oracles of
God; and are become such as have need of milk, and
not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is
unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a
babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of
full age, even those who by reason of use have their
senses exercised to discern both good and evil"
(Hebrews 5:12-14).

Andrew said: Love that is not all encompassing and
unconditional is not true divine love.

We sinful humans cannot dictate what is and what is
not true divine love. God has shown unconditional
love by showing unconditional mercy: "God commendeth
his love toward us, in that, while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8). But God's
love does not have to be all encompassing in order
to be divine: "As it is written, Jacob have I loved,
but Esau have I hated. What shall we say then? Is
there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he
saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have
mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have
compassion" (Romans 9:13-15).

ISA 9:6 For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father . . .

The Messiah, the Son, will be the Father.

God the Son won't be called the Father in the sense
of God the Father, because God the Father and God the
Son have always been and will always be two separate
Persons which exist at the same time: "Jesus, when he
was baptized, went up straightway out of the water;
and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw
the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and
lighting upon him: and lo a voice from heaven,
saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well
pleased" (Matthew 3:16-17). "My Father is greater
than I" (John 14:28). "Then cometh the end, when he
shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the
-Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all
authority and power. . . When all things shall be
subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be
subject unto him that put all things under him"
(1 Corinthians 15:24,28).
So God the Son will be called the Father in a
different sense than being God the Father; just as
Paul can (to a much lesser degree than Jesus) be
considered a father of many believers in a different
sense than being God the Father: "Though ye have ten
thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many
fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you
through the gospel" (1 Corinthians 4:15).

Jesus commanded that they would be required to sell
everything they had, give it ALL to the poor (not
to keep homes for "communal houses.")

They wouldn't be keeping possession of them; the
houses would not be theirs, but the church's. All the
members of the church would be poor insofar as they
owned nothing.

john said: then they would have had NOTHING with
which "to contribute AS EACH NEEDED."

The church institution itself would; it would be like
a non-profit charitable corporation with no owner but
God.

john said: [Re: The apostles]
They did not leave EVERYTHING! Elsewhere, Paul
argued with others, "the apostles take their WIVES
along on their missionary journeys!"

They did leave everything: "We have left all" (Mark
10:28). If Jesus subsequently allowed them to take
their wives back, what's wrong with that?

john said:
[Re: It doesn't say that the Son was the Father]
-
Yes, in fact, it does. Col 2 For in Him (the Son)
dwelt all the fullness of the Godhead (Father/Son/
Holy Spirit) in flesh.

"In him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead
bodily" (Colossians 2:9). This doesn't mean that the
Son is the Father and the Spirit, but that the Father
and the Spirit indwell the Son's body: "The Father
that dwelleth in me" (John 14:10); "God giveth not
the Spirit by measure unto him" (John 3:34).

The Father was "greater" than the Son ONLY while
the Son wore flesh.

The Son will always wear flesh: "For a spirit hath
not flesh and bones, as ye see me have" (Luke 24:39).
He will always be our fully-human high priest;
"Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made
like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful
and faithful high priest" (Hebrews 2:17). "This man,
because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable
priesthood. Wherefore he is able also to save them to
the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he
ever liveth to make intercession for them. For such
an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless,
undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher
than the heavens" (Hebrews 7:24-26).

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! ROTFLMAO!!!!!
NONE of the gospel writers were eyewitnesses!

"We have not followed cunningly devised fables ..." (2 Peter 1:16).

No ... the writer just wrote a cunning fable since Peter was DEAD at the
time of writing 100 - 160 CE!

He who must use a book to get to know God has lost contact with God in his
heart.
Until you can make more than two sentences without copying and pasting
quotes from a mass produced book for the common folk you are not really
welcome here.
Consider that it makes you look rather unintelligent and fanatical to start
with.
