The real terrorist are the ones doing terrorists acts, as in blowing up
civilian buildings, shops, markets, while targeting civilians, and blowing
themselves up in the process.

Citizens of a country live in civilian buildings, travel on civilian
transportation and gather together.
Some of them may be defined as terrorists by outsiders. The Germans said
this of the French resistance during WWII and targeted civilians.
The USA is doing that today in Iraq and blowing up a lot of people. They
also tend to get blown up.
According to what the army taught in basic training prior to Viet Nam, a
resistance movement can't survive without the support of the people. They
stopped teaching it to grunts but do teach it to officers now.
The resistance is still strong in Iraq, so according to what the army
teaches it is supported by the people.
So, The US military
