classic repression techniques.

deny your sexual desires, and channel them into something
asexual, like the christian religion. what's even funnier is
that you hit the nail on the head... transference of lust
of man to passion for the "ideal" man.

the sad part of the story is yet to come. after possibly
years of feeling good about yourself and how happy
you are being a kind of "bride of christ" something will
happen, you will snap, you will question yourself and
wonder why the feelings never went away, and all that
repressed anger/emotion/sexual desire will come back
and before you know it it will be sicker than ever...
that's what happens when you repress and deny
who you are.

depending on how "strong" you are... five years? ten?
even worse... maybe you'll be like a catholic priest and
end up diddling little boys? that's what happens when you
repress your desires...
