Main dogmas and core beliefs of Christianity are:

1. Christ's death (to atone for the sins of all
mankind, forever)
2. Christ's resurrection after 3 days
(Easter)(conquered death)
3. Christ ascension to heaven 40 days after Easter
(real gods can fly)
4. Pentecost - Holy Spirit 7 weeks after Easter
(invisible power)
5. Christ's second coming (judgement day, Armageddon)

It doesn't hurt to note that the above are NOT the central
core of Jesus' teachings, and some are not even mentioned
by him.
You are dealing with a religion that is only loosely based
on Jesus' teachings.
It shouldn't be called "Christianity" at all.
As for the Armageddon part, there is no way to
reconcile the personality called Jesus in the Gospels
with the one called Jesus (the alleged source of the
alleged revelations brought to St. John by the alleged
angel) in the Revelations. They could not be the same
person.
Your terminology is not very accurate.
The Pagans were the Native Europeans (as the Indians
were the Native Americans) and the collection of
mystical/metaphysical teachings _correctly_ identified
as Paganism are what remains of their shamanic
practices, most of them being found in the Gnostic
writings.
The Gnostics predate the coming of Jesus, though some
of them later became variety Christians. (As did many
Jews). It was the Pauline Christians who wiped out
most of the members of the other two main groups and
formed the Catholic Church.
But the term "Christ" in most of the Gnostic writings
refers to a state of consciousness that can be obtained
by the dedicated individual, not to Jesus or any
specific person.
What YOU are calling "Paganism" bears as much
resemblence to the Gnostic teachings (real Paganism) as
a skateboard does to a Rolls Royce.
You need to do some real research before you presume
to educate people.

"Christos" not be called "Christianity"??? -- L.

I would appreciate more information like this.
A lot of people post stuff because we believe
it's no more BS than everyone else's and kind
of to provoke someone with real knowledge
to speak up. I don't know if you know what
you're talking about, so to speak, but I would
like to hear more.

No listing at google groups at all.
For just plain 'cat rancher', only 59 for all time.
An obvious troll that hangs out on alt.philosphy under
numerous other aliases besides 'cat rancher', and has
been trying to get me to read his ignorant posts for
several days now.
Sorry. I only read one turd from any given *****.
Your post goes unread.
Yet AGAIN.
When are you going to learn that you are out of your league?
Happy to killfile yet another of your aliases, you dickless
coward.
I'm not interested in what you have to say. Nor is anyone
that I respect.
Any responses to your posts are also ignored.

I've changed my name a bunch of times
and I think most people are aware of that.
If AC looks up Cat Arranger and
Formerly known as Cat arranger he will
find a few. Also "My evolving opinion"
from another computer, now, AC seems
to be a little edgy. If anyone wants to
know my other aliases, I'll be glad to post.
JJ isn't one of them : -)
