Being an atheist and being a Satanist are not synonymous. An atheist
does not believe in a supreme being, and generally this means that he
doesn't believe in any supernatural entity, which would make it
impossible for him to be a Satanist.
All Satanists tend to be former Christians, as Satan has virtually no
meaning outside Christian theology.

God want us to believe that He exists, in Jesus Christ. Satan wants

us

to believe neither he nor God exists. One is affirmative, the other
negates. Atheist believe that neither god nor devil exist, and that is
what Satan wants atheists to believe and they lap it up.

So Satan Worshipper are in fact good people, in as far as they do the
opposite to what the devil wants - by believing in him?

Satan-worshippers seek non-existence and worship oblivion. They
believe
that non-existence exists. That is a false hope.

I thought Satan-worshippers worshipped Satan? Silly name if they don't.

Same thing. As much as God represents life and existence, Satan
represents death and non-existence.
