[Context inserted at the end]
The Kingdom of Judah remains, which includes three tribes Judah,
Benjaman, and Levi (Jews by the names like Cohan, are of Levi, and
Paul the Apostle stated he was a Benjamite !); Too lazy to look them
up, but there are OT prophecies that say Ephraim (the name
prophetically given to the nine 'missing tribes') will be rejoined
with Judah.
Very interesting, Glenn. Thanks. That makes sense to me.
I believe (just a guess) some Christians are of the "elect", and
others come by free-will, I believe the "elect" are (unknowingly) of
Israel !
That might very well be the case. The tribes of Israel cannot all have
died out, so where are His People?
God only knows, all we can do is guess. I look forward to the day when He
chooses to reveal this to us.
Wouldn't it be neat to find out that you are an Israeli ? :-)
Oh, yes, that, indeed, would be very neat! :-)
My mother's first name was Ruth, by the way. She was born in December
1926. But I think it was only the name that my grandparents liked. My
grandmother's first names were "Clara Berta" lol It would be interesting
to find out where my ancestors came from. But I think I am not as blessed
as you are. I would really envy you for that if envy was my thing. The
last I have heard was that some came from Poland. I will ask my brother -
he seems to have done some research.
My dad's family line traces back to the Mayflower (the ship which brought
the "Pilgrims" one of the first European settlements in the land which later
became the USA !)... Dad's family name is Webb, I forgot the first names,
but my dad's family was the joining of two Webb's (neither related to each
other) in the first wedding to take place in the colony ! In many Europian
countries, as you may well know, the last name "Webb" was a *very common*
last name, based on occupations like taylors, weavers, Ship sails, and
fishing-net makers.
Love and prayers,
Same to you, and for you !
Thanks! It means much for me, Glenn. It is good that you are around with
your kindness here. You are a great testimony for Jesus.
*Blush*
Be blessed even more,

Hey! The Mayflower sailed about 1620... So your ancestors came by that
ship already? Glenn, you are an aboriginal! ;-) Webb is not a common
name here... but "Weber" is, and it means "weaver". So maybe this is the
German variant. So you mean Mrs Webb married Mr Webb? Strange... So you
are a double Webb. My mother's maiden name was "Bergmann" - that means
miner. I know that some of my ancestors on my mother's part were
farmers, and one was killed with a hayfork by a servant. A murder in my
family - it was not the gardener. ;-) But that must have been in the
19th century - or even in the 18th.
