Re: Jesus as God, Pt 1 |
Actually Jesus did claim the Davidic throne, that's what Palm Sunday was all
about... Except the annointing of a priest, everything else as concerning
the claiming a messianic throne, was fulfilled that day.

Of the increase of his government and peace
there will be no end.
He will reign on David's throne
and over his kingdom,
establishing and upholding it
with justice and righteousness
from that time on and forever.
The zeal of the Lord Almighty
will accomplish this."
Let's recap...
Do we really have to? Well, okay.
A man
So far, so good. Jesus was a man, and nothing more.
(a son of Israel and qualified to sit on David's throne),
Jesus was never qualified to sit on David's throne, and he never
did.
shall
be called "Mighty God"
The NT never calls Jesus Mighty God, Tiny God, or god at all in any
unambiguous context.
and "Everlasting Father"
The NT never calls Jesus Everlasting Father, or Short-Term Father,
or father at all. It calls him, over and over again, "the Son".
and be able to reign
forever (without dying).
Jesus never reigned. And he died.
That man's name was Jesus Christ.
Nope, the figure you describe never existed in history nor in the
NT.

Matt 28:9
And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying,
All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
"Worshipped" = "gave reverence to", not "called Jesus God".
Jn 18:36-37
Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants
would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders.
The throne of David, which you claimed was Jesus' by right, is an
_earthly_ kingdom, based on Jewish royal covenant and political
office. Jesus' "kingdom" is not earthly and therefore not the Davidic
"throne" you falsely claim.
But now my
kingdom is from another place."
"You are a king, then!" said Pilate.
Not so fast: you snipped the reply of your "Jesus God": "So
_you_ say", or "YOU say that I am",which is an ambiguous response at
best.
Moreover - and worse for your misconceived claims - you did not
mention that John's Gospel shows Jesus rejecting standard Jewish,
Davidic kingship: John 6:15: "When Jesus perceived that they would
come and force him to be king, he went away alone to a mountain."
"Make me your Davidic Jewish king?" Jesus says. "I'm outa here." So
much for your notions that Jesus was God and Davidic king.

Jesus could not claim the Davidic throne.
And the reason is simple.
In the kings lists from 1 Chronicles 3, we find that that the genealogical
list of Matthew 1 has been doctored.
From 1 Chonicles 3: 15 we find that Josiah (Matthew 1: 11 Josias) had a
son Jehoiakim who followed him.
Matthew omits Jehoiakim, or if you will, the list has been doctored, as
Matthew is missing a generation. The person who doctored the list was too
stupid to adjust the total. Thus the generations that supposedly total 42
generations, only total 41 people.
Following on from 1 Chronicles 3: 16, we find that Jehoiakim had a son
Jeconiah (Matthew 1: 12 Jechonias).
But then the lines agree again.
1 Chronicles 3: 17 Jeconiah has a son Salathiel (Matthew 1: 12 agrees that
Jechonias has a son Salathiel).
Now the problem, and why Matthew was doctored.
Jeremiah 36: 30 - Therefore thus saith the LORD of Jehoiakim king of Judah;
He shall have none to sit upon the throne of David: and his dead body shall
be cast out in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost.
WHAT???
A decendant of Jehoiakim, could not sit on the throne of David!!
Amazing, but Jesus is a decendant of Jehoiakim!! And the OT prophecy says
that Jesus could not sit on David's throne.
AMAZING!!
So what do we have??
Jesus enters Jerusalem, pretending that he is the Davidic heir, when the
jewish authorities know that he cannot sit on David's throne, because God
himself said that no decendant of Jehoiakim can sit on David's throne.
And the Romans, who have spies everywhere, realize that Jesus the rebel, is
trying to usurp their puppet kings, the Herodians, and make quick work of
the rebellion. Grab the leader and execute him.
It's obvious from OT prophecy, that Jesus could never sit on David's throne,
because God said so!!

See Solomon's cornation 1 Kings chapter one
Sorry clown, but again you come up short.
But lets actually read about what is said in 1 Kings -
1 Kings 1: 32-40 - 32 King David said, "Call in Zadok the priest, Nathan
the prophet and Benaiah son of Jehoiada." When they came before the king, 33
he said to them: "Take your lord's servants with you and set Solomon my son
on my own mule and take him down to Gihon. 34 There have Zadok the priest
and Nathan the prophet anoint him king over Israel. Blow the trumpet and
shout, 'Long live King Solomon!' 35 Then you are to go up with him, and he
is to come and sit on my throne and reign in my place. I have appointed him
ruler over Israel and Judah."
36 Benaiah son of Jehoiada answered the king, "Amen! May the LORD, the God
of my lord the king, so declare it. 37 As the LORD was with my lord the
king, so may he be with Solomon to make his throne even greater than the
throne of my lord King David!"
38 So Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, Benaiah son of Jehoiada, the
Kerethites and the Pelethites went down and put Solomon on King David's mule
and escorted him to Gihon. 39 Zadok the priest took the horn of oil from the
sacred tent and anointed Solomon. Then they sounded the trumpet and all the
people shouted, "Long live King Solomon!" 40 And all the people went up
after him, playing flutes and rejoicing greatly, so that the ground shook
with the sound.
First, we see that David did send his own mule to pick up his son. Hardly an
***** and a colt both!!
See Matthew 21: 2 saying to them, "Go to the village ahead of you, and at
once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and
bring them to me
Notice a donkey, and her colt with her. BRING THEM!!
Go on to verse 7 - They brought the donkey and the colt, placed their cloaks
on them, and Jesus sat on them.
Jesus sat on them!! Notice how it took them both to carry his fat *****!!
But now back up, and you being a clown would not understand this.
39 Zadok the priest took the horn of oil from the sacred tent and anointed
Solomon. Then they sounded the trumpet and all the people shouted, "Long
live King Solomon!"
OOOPS!! In the Psalm Sunday stories, it seems the horm of oil from the
sacred tent is missing.
Did you notice who did the anointing??
And you try and fool us with your 1 Kings reference
What a joke you are!!
And another religionist is shown to twist the words of God!!
God knew what He was talking about He had Jehoiakim left out of the royal
line.
Try 1 Chronicles 3: 15-17, to see how Jehoiakim was left out!!
Or, you could give us chapter and verse, where Jesus ever sat on David's
throne!!
I gave you His day of cornation.
Where was the anointing with the horn of oil, by the priest??
OH, right, you ignored that!!
A decendant of Jehoiakim, could not sit on the throne of David!!
Old argument, it really doesn't wash, God is able to do miracles.
But being able to do miracles, does not include breaking his word.
He didn't.
See it was God that said no decendanrt of Jehoiakim would ever sit on
David's throne.
You are getting redundant.
And you won't answer it!!
Amazing, but Jesus is a decendant of Jehoiakim!! And the OT prophecy
says
that Jesus could not sit on David's throne. AMAZING!!
Yes, it is, as Christ was coronated to the throne *anyway* !
But you fail to show the anointing with oil by the priest, which is how
Kings were proclaimed!!
Smile.
You keep saying that, but never showing us the chapter and verse.
It is called Palm Sunday, ever hear of it ?
But there was no anointing by the priest!!
How did you miss that??
Oh, that's right you didn't miss it, just ignored it!!
You quote palm Sunday, then show us where he sat on David's throne.
So what do we have??
Jesus enters Jerusalem, pretending that he is the Davidic heir, when
the
jewish authorities know that he cannot sit on David's throne, because
God
himself said that no decendant of Jehoiakim can sit on David's
throne.
And yet they were unable to stop what was happening !
Why would they stop a man from committing suicide??
How foolish can you get!! Jesus made an entry into Jerusalem. He never
sat
on any throne, and he was never King of Judea.
He is the King of much more.
John 18: 36 agrres with you.
Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would
fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews. But now my kingdom is from another
place."
See Jesus' kingdom is not of this world. But David's was.
That is why their was no anointing by the priest. See to sit on David's
throne you had to be anointed with oil by the priest.
Jesus never was, becasue he did not sit on David's throne.
His imaginary throne is in the sky somewhere.
And the Romans, who have spies everywhere, realize that Jesus the
rebel, is
trying to usurp their puppet kings, the Herodians, and make quick
work
of
the rebellion. Grab the leader and execute him.
Indeed, according to prophecy.
In your imagination!!
In the prophecies
It's obvious from OT prophecy, that Jesus could never sit on David's
throne, because God said > so!!
And yet the coronation went off without a hitch
You keep saying that, but never show the anointing with oil be the priest.
Which was the real coronation!!
As you keep saying. But please show us where any king of Judea was ever
crowned that way!!
Can you do that?
I did, see above.
Now, you grabbed at a straw. David sent some people with his own mule to get
his son. That's called an minor detail.
The fact is, that Zadok the priest anointed Solomon with a horn of oil out
of the tabernacle, and a trumpet was sounded and the people said, GOD SAVE
KING SOLOMON!!
Even a simple clown like yourself should be able to see that there was no
proclaimation of the KING until the anointing took place and the trumpet was
sounded.
Funny how those details are missing from Psalm Sunday!!
Hey, there's an idea!! It was David's throne, show us where David rode
an
***** and a young colt as a sign of his coronation!!
David's son Solomon does it all by itself !
But Jesus was never anointed by the priest.
You let one little fact escape you.
John 18: 36 - Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my

delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
Hadn't missed that one at all, while He was cornated King of Judah, His
earthly kingdom deserted Him.
But no anointing, makes your claim just what it is.
A JOKE!!
There is your error. David's throne and the Kingship of Judea, was/is an
earthly throne.
Actually, it isn't just an earthly throne.
Jesus Kingdom is not of this world.
Not yet.
So obviously Jesus was talking of another kingdom.
He was, but such doesn't erase what happened less than a week before He

this.
But hey, you are not the first clown, who didn't understand that!!
You are the one with mud on your face.
You are the one who fails to show the anointing of the king, that was
required. You are the one that comes up short.
But what is new.
You religionists are all the same.
Whenever your ignorance is shown, you run off and try to twist verses.
Now, how about you actually quote something!!
You know, like showing where Jesus was ever anointed by the priest with oil
from the tabernacle!!
I guess maybe you are the one who should read a little Jewish history!!
Or look like the clown that you are.
Your choice!!
If you have trouble with the history, don't be afraid to ask.
I'll help you all I can!!
Smile.

Or, you could give us chapter and verse, where Jesus ever sat on
David's
Jesus enters Jerusalem, pretending that he is the Davidic heir, when
the
jewish authorities know that he cannot sit on David's throne,
because
God
himself said that no decendant of Jehoiakim can sit on David's
If it were, my servants
would
fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews.
David sent some people with his own mule to
get
his son. That's called an minor detail.
The fact is, that Zadok the priest anointed Solomon with a horn of oil out
of the tabernacle, and a trumpet was sounded and the people said, GOD SAVE
KING SOLOMON!!
Even a simple clown like yourself should be able to see that there was no
proclaimation of the KING until the anointing took place and the trumpet
was
John 18: 36 - Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my
kingdom
were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be
delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
Hadn't missed that one at all, while He was cornated King of Judah, His
earthly kingdom deserted Him.
But no anointing, makes your claim just what it is.
A JOKE!!
There is your error. David's throne and the Kingship of Judea, was/is
an
earthly throne.
Actually, it isn't just an earthly throne.
Jesus Kingdom is not of this world.
Not yet.
So obviously Jesus was talking of another kingdom.
He was, but such doesn't erase what happened less than a week before He
said
You know, like showing where Jesus was ever anointed by the priest with
oil
from the tabernacle!!
I guess maybe you are the one who should read a little Jewish history!!
Or look like the clown that you are.
Your choice!!
If you have trouble with the history, don't be afraid to ask.
I'll help you all I can!!
Smile.

Guess what Mules are commonly called ?
My guess is that they are called an ***** like you.
When you have no bible verses, and you are shown where King Solomon was
anointed with oil from the tabernacle, and you then cannot show where Jesus
was ever anointed, you refuse to answer the text.
Why??
Simply becasue you can't, and like all religionists, you run and hide.
Which does point out what an ***** you are!!

Chapter and verse for that??
Or another of your guesses??
Why did he have to be annointed again??
I thought anyone riding into town on an ***** was all the annointing that was
needed.
But I guess someone showed you that more was needed, so you invented
something.
But Chapter and verse will clear it up.
Right??
Just show us where God annointed him with the oil from the tabernacle!!
OR NOT IF YOU CAN'T FIND ANYTHING!!

Now who is this asking for clarification, is this the same one that
makes all kinds of claims, with no substantiation?
Did not the Father anoint Jesus with the Holy Spirit as a Dove, at His
baptism? And a voice said, " This is my Son, who I love; with you I am
well pleased. "
Oh, that's right, you do not believe Jesus is God! You resist God!

Ahhh, my biggest fan following me around. Hehehehehehehehe.
It's a shame that you didn't go back and read the whole thread.
See ***** for brains, tells us that Jesus was anointed the King of the Jews,
in Matthew 21 by riding into the city on both an ***** AND a colt (see Matthew
21: 7) if you don't believe that.
Then he had the nerve to go back and quote when Solomon was proclaimed King,
and David sent his mule for him.
Carefully omitting that, same said Solomon was annointed with oil from the
tabernacle by the Priest, then the people proclaimed him king.
Now you come on and run your idiotic mouth about Jesus being bapized by
John, and some dove (which in your pea sized brain) has to be a priest with
oil from the tabernacle in disguise, comes down and proclaims Jesus as King
of the Jews.
Fortunately we can all read the story of John baptizing Jesus and see that
no annoitment with oil from the tabernacle took place. There was no
multitude proclaiming Jesus as King of the Jews at his baptism.
And once again, you end up looking like the idiot that you are!!
One thing you will find dear, is that I always quote some sources!!
You never do!!
Now go back and read all the thread.

The Oil is a type of the Holy Spirit! The Holy Spirit is the true
instrument of anointing! If the Holy Spirit was not involved, then
anointing with oil only achieved an oily hairdoo! The Dove is a type of
God who is the true priest of the tabernacle! If God is not in the
tabernacle, acting as the great High priest, then all you have out in
the wilderness is a very strange looking tent, full of men wearing
strange looking clothes, doing and saying some very strange things!
This reminds me of the strange things that you say and do, would this
mean that God is not in your tabernacle, the Holy Spirit is not in you!
You have not been baptized in the Holy Spirit, you are not a believer,
so you do not know the anointing of the Holy Spirit! You speak of
things that you know nothing about! Now that is the definition of
foolishness!
Now you ask if Jesus was ever anointed, and I answered you according to
your question! If you ask the wrong question, that is your
foolishness, Dear!
As far a quoting proof text, you are correct I seldom find it necessary
to quote a specific scripture, unless we are talking about a specific
scripture! If what I say is correct then I do not have to quote a
scripture to support it! If you question what I say, feel free to
direct me to a specific scripture that supports your question! But as
it is, you knew exactly what I was referring to above, so what purpose
was there in quoting a verse, except to impress you with all the verses
I have memorized, which of course is the point afterall, you want to
intimidate folks with all the scriptures you know and in the original
languages to boot! That you do not know the indwelling Holy Spirit is
besides the point! The fact that even a small child can believe in
Jesus as their Savior must really disturb your sense of importance!
The Eastgate is open, the King is in Residence! Whosoever will, may
come in!

Jesus could not claim the Davidic throne.
He could and did, study up on the Hebrew process of coronation, you come
into town riding an ***** (not some white horse like other nations) while
the
people shout Hosana
Perhaps you can show us the chapter and verse, where a King of Judea. was
crowned in this way.
Face it all you have is Zechariah 9: 9, which never mentions a cornation.
And the reason is simple.
In the kings lists from 1 Chronicles 3, we find that that the
genealogical
list of Matthew 1 has been doctored.
Nice claim, even if true, it doesn't change the coronation process.
From 1 Chonicles 3: 15 we find that Josiah (Matthew 1: 11 Josias) had
a
son Jehoiakim who followed him.
Matthew omits Jehoiakim, or if you will, the list has been doctored, as
Matthew is missing a generation.
Hebrew genologies oft skip many generations, so ?
The person who doctored the list was too stupid to adjust the total.
Thus
the generations that
supposedly total 42 generations, only total 41 people.
Following on from 1 Chronicles 3: 16, we find that Jehoiakim had a son
Jeconiah (Matthew 1: 12 Jechonias).
But then the lines agree again.
1 Chronicles 3: 17 Jeconiah has a son Salathiel (Matthew 1: 12 agrees
that
Jechonias has a son Salathiel).
Now the problem, and why Matthew was doctored.
Jeremiah 36: 30 - Therefore thus saith the LORD of Jehoiakim king of
Judah;
He shall have none to sit upon the throne of David: and his dead body
shall
be cast out in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost.
WHAT???
God finds a way.
I guess maybe he does find a way. It was God that said no decendant of
Jehoiakim would sit on David's Throne.
Maybe as you point out, God did not know what he was talking about.
Or, you could give us chapter and verse, where Jesus ever sat on David's
throne!!
A decendant of Jehoiakim, could not sit on the throne of David!!
