Yes, the way to identify a tree or a person is by the kind of fruit
that is produced. (MTH 7:20)
Of course, this is not a two way street, though. While all good fruit
comes ONLY from a good tree, answer this question. Can a good tree
produce a bad fruit (if...say..it gets eaten by a worm, infected by a
germ, or such)? Or, is it your opinion that there has never been a
good tree on Earth? Indeed, when a fruit goes bad, what does the tree
do...it drops the fruit (a "fall") and is, therefore, no longer
connected to it.

All this confusion is further evidence there is no omnipotent god!

The tree analogy certainly fails with relation to god when we consider
any type of cognition god may have or particularly with omniscience.
Well, if we take the god of the bible as true; and satan as true, and
so on. It brings up some interesting questions. Namely, why would god
create satan? And how (how can a pure being beget an evil and impure
one)? Did god not know of the evil satan would release on earth or the
rebellion and evil he'd lead in heaven? If he did know then he is just
as evil; if he didn't know then he is not omniscient and his creation
of humans is careless experimentation and a willingness to subject all
people to pain and hell for his entertainment and ego.
Secondly, after the rebellion and the "fall" - how could god create
earth and Adam - then allow satan - the lion and deceiver - to have
free roam and manipulate Adam? It cracks me up when people talk about
the "Garden" and how it was a perfect place... free of sin (while the
ultimate sinner has free access to two newborn naifs), also of how
Adam chose to do this or that. Its pretty clear it was a setup. Adam
and Eve, ignorant - having no knowledge of good or evil; and they are
supposed to obey a rule that means nothing to them (what is obedience
to someone that was just conceived and knows nothing of good, evil,
obedience, etc) and threaten them with death (that means nothing to
them) while dangling a tree that holds knowledge they do not possess
in their reach. Then god allows the master manipulator and arch enemy,
Satan, to enter and roam freely. Its almost as though god wanted these
people damned - or as though this story were just made up and
comprised of various other pagan myth parts into a whole genesis
story...
Then, of course, god binds satan in the end - after billions find
their doom and damnation. God could have prevented many deaths,
damnations, pains, etc but he chooses to place people in peril and
pain so that he can have a few people to worship and know him. The
ultimate in selfishness...
Really not worth believing in..
