The religions of the Gentiles were all are failed attempts to singularly
build bridges to God, be it the pragmatic humanism of the north, or the
liberal universalism of the east, the fundamentalists extremists of the
south, or the great and terrible beast of the west, which tries to be
humanistic, legalistic, and universalistic all at the same time.
In the past, God winked at these things, but built His own bridge through
Jesus Christ, who is the perfection of all that the Gentiles searched for,
but failed to find.
Those who refuse to repent of their own constructions and try to cross the
build the bridges that man made will find themselves in the drink.
Those who repent and cross the bridge that God made via Jesus Christ will
pass over the turbulent waters.
