In the article 'The Law Before Christ' (Watchtower magazine, 9/1/1996; pp.
12-13, paragraphs 13-21) there is a commentary about pharisaism and the
lessons we can learn from the folly of the Pharisees:
"The Pollution of Pharisaism
"13 The rabbis reasoned that since the Torah, or Mosaic Law, was perfect,
it must contain an answer to every question that might arise. This notion
was not truly reverent. In reality, it gave the rabbis license to use
clever human reasoning, making it appear that God's Word was the basis for
rules on all manner of issues-some personal, others simply trivial.
Wow!!! Just exactly like what the Governing Body of the Watchtower Society
does.
"14 Again and again the religious leaders took Scriptural precepts and
stretched them to extremes. For instance, the Mosaic Law promoted
separateness from the nations, but the rabbis preached a form of
unreasoning contempt for everything non-Jewish.
Holy KOW!!!! The same thing the WTS teaches all JWs - total contempt for
all NON-JWs.
They taught that a Jew must not leave
his cattle at a Gentile inn, for Gentiles "are suspected of bestiality."
And the WTS teaches that all NON-JWs are immoral sinners, drunkards and
fornicators. This is great reading Mr. P.
Thanks for getting honest with us....... :-)

Hasn't it occurred to any avid Watchtower critic that this article is a
turning point in the organization? The writer of the article is essentially
coming clean in laying pharisaism on the table and dissecting it.
Contrary to the negative spin many of you anti-JWs place on this article, it
is in fact a glimpse into the future Watchtower Society. That future starts
with harsh assessment of human flaws and then a gradual cleansing we have
seen since 1996 in case you're too blind to notice positive changes.
I think it was gutsy of the writer to lay it on the line, so to speak, and
address a sensitive topic plaguing a great deal of professed Christian
organizations without bias (i.e. without trying to filter out certain things
that may cast a critical light on the Society's own human shortcomings).
This article demonstrates an organization of students of the Bible who are
daily forging ahead. Jehovah's Witnesses are obviously a group of Christians
not stagnating in pharisaical attitudes and practices simply to buttress
former outdated views. How many religious organizations would lay it on the
line so bluntly, giving their enemies the opportunity to throw their own
words and past mistakes back in their faces? Even the early apostles and
Christian disciples of Jesus were not without error.

Enemies? Why do you all consider those who point out the many problems with
the WTS enemies? Do you call the Police enemies because they arrest
criminals? And lets not forget how the WTS constantly threw the outdated
views of the Catholic church in everyone face ad nauseum.
Even the early apostles and

Right! And they didn't rake in billions of dollars a year on the backs of
people barely surviving in many cases. They didn't kill people with the
blood issue, or demand they fill out time cards, or force married mothers of
large families to go d2d....

He has no power in his off-line life. That's why he's on Usenet stalking
people; for the power he feels it gives him.

The above poster was impersonated by the Jehovah's Witness known as
Mindfucked/Fez. Obsenities & slander deleted. All this JWs obscene messages
are approved by the Jehovahs Witnesses on ARJW.
This is how Jehovah's Witnesses silence their ex-members and those who
reject the WTS. Remember these messages when one of them knocks on your
door. In fact *print a few of these
messages* and hand them to the next JWs that knock to your door. Once
they've got them in their hands close the door saying "NO THANKS" I know
what
you people are really like.
Notice the obscene language in some messages, false accusations etc used by
the JW to drive
people off the NG! And they call themselves Jehovah's people and claim
everyone else follows Satan! Could Satan worshippers be worse than these
JWs?
Note also they FORGE headers, cut and paste, snip and IMPERSONATE innocent
people in their
quest to silence those who dare speak out. They claim to do these things in
the name of Jehovah and the Watchtower Society.
Let us judge the TREE (WTS) by the FRUIT (JWs) it produces.
