hi there, will help you out a bit here as xo's post was a bit vague.
if you consider the life of jesus christ, of whom christians and so-called
christians derive their name, you will see that jesus refused to made into a
government ruler, he also made it clear that his followers were to be no
part of the 'world'. jesus taught his followers about gods kingdom, not
about human 'kingdoms' as the answer to human problems.
it basically comes back to simply looking at the type of man jesus was. you
can read it yourself in the books of matthew, mark, luke and john. you will
find hes was never involved in being some part of a human government. that
was not gods will for him.
