Hosea was a priest, otherwise called 1 Chr.26 traces part of his priestly
line "Hosah" ask your local rabbi about priestly lines
God had the Temple burned down when the Jews were taken into the Babylonian
captivity, because like many try to do with the scriptures today, they
worshipped the Temple.
BTW Hosea isn't a contradiction, its a lesson, recall God instructed "Thou
shalt not kill" but later ordered Israel to kill ?
The exception to any written rule, is God telling you to break it !

I stand behind ALL of my posts. I do spend anywhere from 20/30 minutes
to
hours per post. It is easy to spend 2/3 hours on a long verse in the
bible.
I initially found errors on my own but I don't try to "reinvent the
wheel"
and don't continue to look for them on my own. I do go to sites, both
skeptics and apologists, where I cut and paste and then look it up in the
bible. I apply my past readings of the bible, my education both from
heard
sermons and classes, my faith and my logic to come to a conclusion to
whether a questioned verse is in error or not.
If you call that "research", then I can see where all
of your mistakes are coming from. You denied that you
copy & paste, when I stated that you were doing that.
Now you admit it. That makes you a liar.
The fact is, that you don't even bother reading the
surrounding verses. That is obvious to anyone who
bothers to examine what you've posted.
You posted the following as a supposed contradiction in
the Bible...
Leviticus, Chapter 21
"7": They shall not take a wife that is a *****, or
profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from
her husband: for he is holy unto his God.
Hosea, Chapter 1
"2": The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea.
And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife
of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land
hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD.
"3": So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim;
which conceived, and bare him a son.
However, you forgot to mention that the commandment in
Leviticus was directed to the priests and not the
people in general. Reading that chapter from v1
shows...
"And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto THE PRIESTS
the sons of Aaron, and say..." - Lev 21:1
So much for your "extensive research" that you claimed
to be doing.
The fact is, that ALL you do, is copy & paste from web
sites and the CLAIM to be doing, "extensive research".
Face it, you're bagged. You've been shown to be the
fraud that you are. You've now been exposed for all to
see. You post a bunch of messages and then think
people are dumb enough to believe that you research
each one carefully, when it could take hours and hours
to do so, on some of them. Please.
