"This generation" is not limited to an exclusive meaning of
the people who then stood and listened to Christ speak, as you
need it to be. This is not the New Heavens and earth, and
this is not what it is like to live in a place where there is
no more sin, sorrow, or death. You have to deliberately and
consistently delude yourself, as well as mock, blaspheme, and
ridicule the patience and promises of God, to get to the point
where you believe the condition in which we now live
represents God's will being done on earth as it is in heaven.

Rely on this work alone to escape hell and receive eternal
life (Jn. 3:16; 1 Cor. 15:1-3; Eph. 2:8-10; 2 Thess. 1:8-9).
