I am a 'fruit inspector'. I righteously judge what people say by the ONLY
true standard for all truth; the Word of God. If either their writ or
religion do NOT align with the Word of God 100%; they are found wanting.

OK, so I'm wondering now why two people, both professing to be
Christians, are behaving in such an acrimonious way to each other.
Without trying to take sides (I have no clue who's "right", if anyone),
I have to ask this question (which I often ask of Christians):
What would Jesus do? How would he handle this, were he one of these
people? If Jesus created a Website and someone criticized it, how
would he react to that criticism? Or, if someone created a Website,
and Jesus felt it was somehow lacking or improper, how would he go
about telling the Webmaster?
I make no claim to being a Christian. I just have to say that this
sort of thing is part of what gives Christians and Christianity a bad
name - the bickering, the refusal to treat others respectfully, the
basic inability to follow the teachings of Jesus. Oh, and the arrogant
belief that everyone else is wrong, that *I* am the one who has found
the TRUTH(tm).
The greatest obstacle to finding the truth is the belief that you
already know it. If you have stopped seeking, then chances are good
that you haven't found the truth - because it's not something that just
ends one day. It is a never-ending process, at least in this life. If
you know no more tomorrow than you did today, then you have failed
somehow. You may be forgiven, but you still disappoint.
And before you lambaste me for being a free-thinking atheistic Godless
Communist heathen, let me cheerfully agree with you. It doesn't matter
what I believe, really. I'm still seeking. I admit that I haven't
found the TRUTH(tm). I have found many truths, and I hope to find many
more. Maybe some day I will also find the TRUTH(tm), but I doubt it.
I don't think finite humans can ever fully know God - or, for that
matter, much of anything.
Just think of this, though... I don't believe in the Bible. I don't
worship Jesus. I don't profess Christianity. But, while you guys were
bickering about whose brand of the TRUTH(tm) was best, I was wondering
how Jesus would have behaved. So - which person is more in line with
what Jesus taught?

That depends on what you mean by "criticism", does it not?
If they offered suggestions, He would probably thank them
kindly.
If they were just being mean about it, He would point out
their internal issues within their hearts.
If they were claiming to be followers of Him, He would
call them liars; white washed sepulchers and would
walk away from them.
Jesus did not go around getting yelled at and called names
by people, while saying, "Thank you and I love you".

Again, I didn't read the comments. But just FYI, let us not
pretend that the false picture that atheists and others paint
regarding Christianity, doesn't have something to do with it.
When one paints a false picture of how a Christian should act
in each situation, then the "bad name" they claim is being
given by the Christians, is actually due to a false picture
painted by atheists, et al. For example, what would the
atheists say about the time that Jesus blasted people and
said to them, "You are of your father the Devil!" ???

I don't bother with peoples' railing comments, nor with
comments meant to distract from the discussion, because
you are unable to answer the hard questions that may arise
as a response to claims that you might make, nor do I play
games with God's word.
If you wish to be rude, go find a mirror and see if the
person you see there would appreciate it. And if the
person you find in that mirror wouldn't, then you know
why I have ended my conversation with you. Rather,
I have chosen to ignore and forget you, at least until
you learn some common decency and respect.
And yes, there is a difference between being insulting
and being direct. And no, that does not mean that being

Who demands of you, that you regard the "Jesus meek and mild" as being
the REAL Jesus? Jesus was only meek and mild when faced with death,
declining to fight back or curse his accusers. Other times He could be very
