INTELLIGENT DESIGN
---snip---
HIS FINGERPRINTS ARE EVERYWHERE;
If we're willing to open our eyes, we'll see those fingerprints of God
all around us and all throughout us. Our very existence proves the
existence of a Creator God.
What saddens me is that you have gone to the trouble of typing all of this
nonsense about Intelligent Design when you should know that eminent
scientists have already shot the argument down in flames. Instead of
constantly bolstering your deluded beliefs with books that support the
concept of faith, try reading a few that argue for atheism. George H.
Smith, in his book "Atheism, the case against God" (available from Amazon)
examines every single argument and so-called 'proof' for the existence of a
god (including Intelligent Design!) and intelligently and articulately
demonstrates how they are false.

Hello,
Yes "eminent scientists" once taught they had the 'missing link' with
the Piltdown Man. (until many years later it was found out to be a
fake) Although most of the time we can be fairly confidant about what
"eminent scientists" say, that is not always the case. One must still
ask the question about what they are proposing to us, if it is
feasible or not.
Concerning intelligent design, let me ask you just one question. If
you were made of wires and computer chips etc, instead of flesh and
blood etc, would you still question whether or not some intelligence
designed you?
Sincerely, James

Neither you, or others, are offering Intelligent Design as a question - you
are offering it as an answer.

Scientists are, themselves, CONSTANTLY asking, challenging and testing their
theories.
That's how SCIENCE shot down a minor claim that the Piltdown man was,
indeed, an honest fossil and a "missing link".
"Is it feasible" is NOT a scientific criteria.
Scientists, themselves, will tell you that they work in theories (though
some hold on to them too strongly), and those theories are honed every time
new, and valid, evidence is discovered.
As opposed to creationists, "I.D.ers" and religious zealots - who have NO
valid facts or evidence - yet still manage to invent what they think are
iron clad conclusions.
Concerning intelligent design, let me ask you just one question. If
you were made of wires and computer chips etc, instead of flesh and
blood etc, would you still question whether or not some intelligence
designed you?
If there was any evidence tht there was a creator, the creator would be
accepted as fact.
Since you have no evidence of a creator, you, of course, have to invent
irrelivent, lame brain, corrupt straw men arguments to bolster your crap!

It is a logical fallacy to assume that all eminent scientists are alike and
therefore if one is bad, they are all bad.
One must still
ask the question about what they are proposing to us, if it is
feasible or not.
That presumes that you also understand what they are proposing -- and most
people are not very good at science.
Concerning intelligent design, let me ask you just one question. If
you were made of wires and computer chips etc, instead of flesh and
blood etc, would you still question whether or not some intelligence
designed you?
Yes, because I wouldn't blindly assume it was one designer, but many designers.

Yes and good christians used to burn people who didn't follow their
prescribed ideas. So, what's you point. Guilt by association? You
sure don't seem to have a good handle on the things you write about. Are
you possibly stealing somebody else's words? AH - I thought so!
