Re: Satan bound Paul, huh?

1st Thessalonians 2:18 (KJV)

Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again;
but Satan hindered us.

Why didn't Paul rebuke Satan?

Hello,
It was unlikely this was a direct confrontation by Satan, as in what
happened to Jesus in the wilderness. Rather, this was more likely
opposition from fellow countrymen that Satan was using to discourage
Paul from carrying out his assignments. But Paul did defeat Satan in
this instance, when he later sent Timothy to the Thessalonian
congregation to strengthen it. (1 Th 3:6)

Paul seemed to have a lot of problems
with the churches that were in asia.

2nd Timothy 1:15 (KJV)

This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from
me;

Again, opposition from fellow countrymen was great at that time.

Acts 24:18 (KJV)

Whereupon certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple,
neither with multitude, nor with tumult.

"purified in the temple"? What is that supposed to mean?

It means that in order to reach Jews who were still practicing the
Mosaic Laws, Paul did some of those laws also, in order to get a
hearing ear from them. As Paul said at 1 Co 9:20,
"To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the
law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the
law), so as to win those under the law." (NIV)

Acts 16:6 (KJV)

Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia,
and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia,

Which contradicts the entire first three chapters of Revelation:

Revelation 1:11 (KJV)

Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou
seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are
in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto
Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

Yes, Paul was forbidden to travel there when traveling westward on his
second missionary tour. It was Jesus who was directing Paul and Jesus
at that time apparently wanted him to preach in Europe. (Acts 16:9,
10)
But Jesus and God used other ones to reach those congregations in the
above mentioned ones, such as the writings of the apostle John to
them. (for example, for Smyrna etc see Re 1:11)

PS: I'm not selling books or church doctrine, and I'm not a teacher.

I know or can research.
