Agreed. Voluntary donations to support your church are one thing.

Tithing

as an obligation is nonsense. Any Christian with any sense of honest=

salvation. That is the idea of humans trying, as always, to make a

buck out of religion.

How much would you see that a person that has a family and enjoys the

church

services, and attends the meetings, should pay to support their church?=

None, if their god can't support it, why should anyone else. In the state=

they are tax
exepmt businesses, in Europe, they are frequently ssupported by deduction=

the wages by the Govt. [Germany still does this last I heard], in

the quaint custom of you being a member of the church, whether you want t=

being obliged to support the church. I have been given to understand that=

& people can officially quit the church [Lutheren & Catholic] if they wan=

forced to **donate** money for the upkeep of the church.

You need to fix your news reader, it isn't marking quotes correctly, like m=

Tax exempt only works if there is money that comes in to exempt, I was no=

They aren't licensed to run a business, or some other secular reason maybe?=

church and want a church, and enjoy what a church has for them. A tithe=

Then you are saying, that those that attend a church [around here 58+ seems=

never mind their gods aren't providing them with extra money to give. Never=

that they really can't afford 1-5 dollars a week. Never mind that the cold =
season is
arriving. Never mind that a building is nothing & people can worship whever=
they want
to [proividing they follow a few basic rules that apply to everyuone else].=
IOW, never

The

away the tax exemption, etc. Then My question was to a believer who doe=

s

go to Church and does use the Church for their personal needs such as
weddings, and death, youth meetings, and other things.

Weddings don't require churches, death, well Thanatos doesn't care where he=

collects you. The Hell Hounds don't either. Youth meetings, why not a paren=
t [of one ot
those youths] do it at home. But wait, that might not be convenient so pay =
a church a
rental fee for the room & don't worry about it. Pastor billy Bob will be gl=
ad to take care of the kids.
Not to mention most parents don't have a clue how to talk to their kids.

Thank you for your reply.

Beleive it or not, welcome you are.
