Re: Simple Position
Its simple Athiests:

1. Your right and I wasted my time in a religion its still my time and
nothing has changed.

2. I'm right and your wrong, you will burn in hellfire and learn you
were fools.

Which choice has the greater cost to a person being an athiest or
beliveing in the Lord God?

And in another point how many horrors were caused by ATHIEST
governments in the last century? The Communist Purges in both the USSR
and China. The Nazi Regime killing millions of Jews and other
undesirables. The Genocide of Abortion that is killing since it became
legal MILLIONS of innocent lives were ended in the mothers womb. With
no God evil is given room to blossom. You get the jackboot in the face
not hope and dreams.

Hello,
You apparently believe in God and want to serve Him, which is great.
But I do want to point out to you that anyone who tortures another is
never considered a good person. The Bible clearly says God IS LOVE. (1
Jo 4:8) Yet people accuse God of 'torturing' people forever in a
literal fire. Hitler and such personalities torture, not a loving God.
When have you ever seen LOVE and TORTURE be part of the same good
personality? You don't because the two are not compatible.
But you may say that the Bible discusses "fire" and people being
tossed into it. Yes it does, but are you 100% sure that "fire"
mentioned in those verses is literal? If it is not, but only
symbolizing everlasting destruction, just like fire destroys things
beyond their recovery, then the God of the Bible tortures no one. If
you want a discussion of those verses, just ask.
(for just one example, you can see that that "fire" is not literal by
reading Re 20:13. Notice the individual things tossed into that
alleged 'literal' fire)
So I just wanted to inform you that the loving God you serve is not a
sadistic torturer at all. Never was, and never will be.
Sincerely, James
