CLUE, loser: People have ALWAYS done that when laws are
**unjust** and hateful. it's called "civil disobedience," and it has
played a very VALUABLE role in getting very important REFORMS
enacted.
Civil disobedience mad much-needed unions possible. It
enabled women to be able to vote. It almost single-handedly
destroyed segregation, and established guarantees of Civil Rights
for the racial minorities. And it WILL run the moronic opposition to
same-sex marriage right out of America on the proverbial rail. All of
this is for the GOOD.
There *have* been instances where HATEFUL people have
engaged in civil disobedience, however. Such as the Anti-Choicers.
But since *they* had NOTHING worthwhile to fight for, but instead
were seeking to disrupt human rights. And all THAT accomplished
was to get them laughed-at a whole lot, arrested in some cases, and
an earing of derision for their loathsome cause by society.
Moral of this story: If a person wants to engage in civil
disobedience, STAND UP for individual liberties. Then in
the end, you will ALWAYS be a WINNER!
