JNAHC is an alternative church intended to work outside the main stream
from the outset. It's been suggested that Mr. Winter's ego was a motivating
factor to become ordained was based on what he observed about the respect
shown Pastor Godair. I feel he raised a lot of objections to perceived sins
which weren't taken seriously. Having his own church meant no one could
disagree with him and/or overide his wants, wishes & desires. My thoughts
are he felt it looks good leading the Lost to the Promised Land, something
like Moses leading his people out of Egypt. Moses however, didn't
volunteer. While the desire for money may have played a role, I think it
was considered a bonus more than a foundation.
His claim to righteousness? He likes to picture himself as being better
than the next guy. Even the best of people slip up and he is no exception.
I really didn't want to raise the issue of sexual impropriety within his
church, but I tire of him condemning people simply because they don't share
his particular view especially when much of what he says isn't to help
people understand, but to simply display rather childish taunting. By
raising the issue, I've effectively declared that JNAHC has failed in its
role as a righteous place. That places it on the same level which brought
about its creation. Granted, he dealt with the issue as would be expected.
Despite all of his claims, JNAHC remains unlisted. It would make sense if
he lived in a region where Christianity isn't tolerated, but not in the USA
where churches of all beliefs exist.
An analogy comes to mind. At one point while I worked for Rapid
Transport & Courier, the boys would claim they were the biggest courier
company in Nova Scotia. Yet, there was no name on the office building, no
name on the vans, and we carried waybills for several companies. It's like
Rapid never really got much past the startup phase. The ministry of Mr.
Winter seems little different. It's like he is still trying to establish a
church in a land which encourages religious freedom. For whatever reason,
people aren't really buying into it. Is the market saturated?

And to think he thought you would never catch on. However, I do agree
that while Mr. Winter has exploited pictures of others through his
interpretation of "fair use", he should not be caricaturized (is that
word). But then, America has a wannabe Taliban in Durham in the form of Mr.
Winter who not only looks the part, he behaves as an extremist as well.
