A large scale study found that people who did not attend
church were 4 times as likely to commit suicide than popple
who were frequent church goers. A review of 12 studies of the
relationship between religious commitment and suicide found a
negative correlation in all 12 cases. Lack of church attendance
has been found to be the single best predictor of suicide rates.

Lame people who walk with crutches are far less likely to fall over too.
Big deal.

Bwahahhaaaaa.............
We'll forgive the "popple" mistate ........... but that does show a lack of
PROFESIONALISM in the organization.
What 12 studies?
Does it show that JUST CHURCH attendance/beliefs have this effect - or is it
any social organization has this (supportive) effect?
Does it include the fact that insane, fanitical, mentally corrupt cult
members and creators ARE believers?
Does it include the fact that, in male dominated, organizations - there is a
definate demeaning of women, to the point of potential abuse?
Does it show that in all male religous organizations, there is a greater
tendancy for gay activities?
Does it show that zealous believers and organizations (like this one)
BLATANTLY and CONSISTANTLY LIE to give greater PR to their religion - AND to
demonize others?
Does it show a greater amount of power and greed corruption amongst
believers within, and outside, of the church?

What about in 1972? I found this reprint about suicide in the US
It discussed suicide amound medical doctors, attorneys etc.. I
found this in a Readers Digest in a hospital emergency waiting
room a few days ago. I thought it was valid information.

This is no surprise. Religious believers are told that suicide is a mortal
sin and they would go to Hell for eternity.
Non religious people know that when there dead there dead! And are relieved
from pain and suffering.

Good point. Religious believers are not allowed to commit suicide!
They're told that they'll get punished if they do.
That's the main reason why they don't!
How silly is that!
Non religious people know that when there dead there dead! And are
