Imagine what Bush would have tried had he been faced with a vacancy on
the Supreme Court. No doubt he would have nominated someone of the
same ilk as Robert Bork.
Now if Scalia and Rhenquist would just retire then Kerry can make the
Court a respected and honorable institution again.
