You forgot the mention those whose life the WTS destroyed in the process

I've even heard someone refer to
having served as one of JWs as very similar to having served in the U.S.
military "only serving as one of JWs is serving in Jehovah's military for
the time one is going door to door, and spreading God's word from the
Bible." Hmm, does this mean ex-JWs are "civilians" in the coming war, I
asked him tongue and cheek?
Yes,...your god will smite wicked Orgs abusing and using people and
destroying families and marriages off the earth - the WTS in NY will be one
of the first to go!
These viewpoints, if you will, are obviously not considered the norm by
many active JWs who view ex-JWs in a stereotypical manner.
We were well taught to see all those who leave the WTS Publishing House as
whores, drunkards, Satan lovers, fornicators and in a generally totally
negative light. Never mind they may have better morals and values than the
KH's head honcho.
The truth is that many
JWs around the world drift in and out of the truth their entire lives. I
do believe that someone who has served vigorously in spreading the good
news of Christ's approaching kingdom for many years of their life, and
burned out,
How can they not burn out when the WTS keeps the pressure on them to spread
the BAD news to either join the org or be burnt to death horribly and in
agony in a lake-of-fire? Maybe some develop a conscience instead of being
like most JWs and becoming conscienceless, even to the point to suggesting
someone "slash the throat" of those who expose the WTS and their
grandchildren including a disabled veteran in a wheelchair. And YES, the JW
who did that is indeed a known JW in two KHs and his posts verified by his
ISP in NJ. (The JWs victims are in TN).

the truth.

With all due respect, the WTS is a private organization with it's own
rules, and it's members subject themselves to those rules by choosing
to be JWs. There are more than 30,000 doctrinally disagreeing sects of
Christianity, and if we were to attack all of them, we wouldn't have
time to eat and sleep...LOL It is my opinion that the answer is to
refrain from criticism, and simply explain the scriptures plainly and
logicly, so that JWs, and anyone else, cannot help but see the logical
truth of the bible story.
If the truth of the bible is not logical, then any bible interpretation
is as likely to be correct as any other interpretation.
What do you think?

I hate to tell you this Sable, but you are not just describing JWs, you
are describing virtually all of the thousands of sects of Christianity.
Incidently, I am not posting on a JW group. I am posting on alt.bible,
but apparently Google sends my posts to a bunch of other groups unless
I remove the other groops from the "To" list when I post. I stay away
from posting on doctrinally aligned groups because I prefer a wide open
discussion of the bible, not a discussion in the context of a sect.

The reason that 10 different people will have 10 different
interpretations of the same scriptures, is because those 10 people
learned the faith of their sects, from the selected single verses
offered by their sects. Scripture was not written in verses, it was
written in story form, which means to me that doctrines should not be
built on verses, but on the actual story which flows with continuity
through the bible.

legitimate religions here in the USA do the damage to families, marriages,

Children were not terrorized with horror stories of an Armageddon where
