excuse to attack the discoveries of science.

Scientific theories are derived from scientific discoveries. You reject
the discoveries so you can _falsely_ claim that the theories are
invalid.

evidence for your personal doctrines.
Evolution is not the result of scientific investigation into the
nature of things... even young and unlearned school children believe
in Evolution. Evolution is the result of being " hardened " because
that is what God desires for them.
