"He shall confirm the covenant with many for one
week" (Daniel 9:27).
The original Hebrew word for "week" literally means
"seven", so this could refer to the Antichrist
confirming a seven-year peace treaty. He could do
this in 2009, confirming a treaty supposed to last
until 2016; the context of Daniel 9:27 shows how
this could be the case.
---
"From the going forth of the commandment to restore
and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince
shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks"
(Daniel 9:25).
There could have been a modern fulfillment of this
"commandment" with the UN Resolution of 1947 re-
establishing the state of Israel. The original
Hebrew word for "weeks" is ultimately derived from a
Hebrew word which means "to be complete", so that
Daniel 9:25 could be referring in a sealed manner to
69 years to be completed from the UN Resolution until
Jesus Christ of Nazareth returns from heaven in 2016.
---
"And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be
cut off" (Daniel 9:26).
This could refer to a false Messiah who could be
ruling Jerusalem 62 years after the UN Resolution,
or in 2009. The original Hebrew word for "cut off"
can refer to the making of a treaty, so that the
Antichrist could make a treaty with a false Messiah
in 2009. This could be the same treaty as the
"league" that the Antichrist will make with the
"prince of the covenant" after defeating him: "And
with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from
before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince
of the covenant. And after the league made with him
he shall work deceitfully" (Daniel 11:22-23).
---
"And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one
week" (Daniel 9:27).
Because the original Hebrew word for "week" literally
means "seven", this could refer to the Antichrist
confirming his treaty with the false Messiah before
the UN, promising to keep it for seven years, or
until 2016.
---
2016 could be the year that Jesus Christ of Nazareth
will return from heaven. He said; "Now learn a
parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet
tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer
is nigh. So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these
things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not
pass, till all these things be fulfilled" (Matthew
24:32-34).
Here the fig tree could represent Israel; "I found
Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your
fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree" (Hosea
9:10). The re-budding of the fig tree could represent
the re-establishment of the state of Israel. Jesus
could be saying that the temporal generation that
sees that happen won't die off before everything in
Matthew 24 is fulfilled; this includes the coming
tribulation and the second coming of Jesus. If a
generation usually passes away after about 70 years
-- "The days of our years are threescore years and
ten" (Psalms 90:10) -- then the tribulation and
second coming may be completed by 2016, that is, 69
years after the 1947 UN resolution re-establishing
the state of Israel.
This would mean that 7 years before 2016, or in 2009,
the Antichrist could arise to make his 7-year treaty
with Israel (Daniel 9:27, 11:23).
But before the Antichrist arises in Daniel 11:21,
another leader has to arise who will fulfill Daniel
11:13-19 by defeating Israel and Egypt.
If the situation in Iraq continues to deteriorate,
the US could choose an Iraqi strongman who appears
quite friendly to the US and even to Israel, a
youngish, charismatic (and utterly ruthless) former
Baathist general who could be put in "temporary"
charge of Iraq in order to restore peace and
stability to Iraq, so that the bulk of the US forces
there might finally be able to come home without fear
of leaving chaos behind. By 2009, the Baathist
general could be very well-equipped militarily by the
US in order that Iraq might be prepared to invade
huge Iran "to rid the world of its nuclear menace
and its irrational regime".
But instead of invading Iran, the Baathist general
could suddenly turn and with his massive army make a
blitzkrieg attack on tiny Israel, "which by his hand
shall be consumed" (Daniel 11:16). He could then
sweep on into Egypt, installing a Baathist regime
there (Daniel 11:17's "daughter" in Hebrew is "bath")
This Baathist general will disappear from the scene
(Daniel 11:19) before the Antichrist arises (Daniel
11:21) to make his seven-year peace treaty with a
false Messiah ruling Jerusalem (Daniel 11:22-23).
---
"And in the midst of the week (seven) he shall cause
the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the
overspreading of abominations he shall make it
desolate" (Daniel 9:27).
This could mean that around the middle of the
time period of the treaty (2009-2016), the Antichrist
could break his treaty with the false Messiah, stop
all animal sacrifices which had been offered daily
before a rebuilt Jewish temple in Jerusalem, and
commit the abomination of desolation, where he will
sit in the temple and proclaim himself God, and leave
an image of himself there to be worshipped.
"That man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is
called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God
sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he
is God" (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4).
"Arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute
the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the
daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination
that maketh desolate" (Daniel 11:31). "The king shall
do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself,
and magnify himself above every god" (Daniel 11:36).
"Ye therefore shall see the abomination of
desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in
the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand)"
(Matthew 24:15).
This could occur on December 21, 2012, the winter
solstice. During the season of the winter solstice,
from the viewpoint of earth, the sun is in the
general direction of the center of the galaxy. But on
the winter solstice of 2012, some claim that
something significant will occur, such as the sun,
from the viewpoint of earth, passing directly across
the exact center of the galaxy, or across the
"galactic plane". This astronomical event is why some
say the Mayans ended their calendar on that date.
Some non-Christian "spiritual" types expect this Age
to end and a "New Age" to begin on that date.
But what "spiritual" significance could the center of
the galaxy have? On the physical level, scientists
believe that it could be a super-massive black hole,
which is basically a huge star which went bad and
sucked other stars into its blackness. In the Bible,
"stars" can represent angels (Revelation 1:20). So
a black hole could represent a fallen angel, and the
greatest black hole, at the center of the galaxy,
which has sucked many stars into its blackness, could
represent the greatest fallen angel, Satan himself,
who could have drawn one-third of the angels into
his rebellion.
"And his tail drew the third part of the stars of
heaven" (Revelation 12:4). "The devil and his angels"
(Matthew 25:41).
The Antichrist will make everyone worship Satan and
himself: "And they worshipped the dragon which gave
power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast"
(Revelation 13:4). Could the Antichrist choose
December 21, 2012 as the date to commit the
abomination of desolation, to proclaim himself and
Satan as God, based on some significant "spiritual"
connection on that date between Satan and the earth,
whereby the powers of Satan will be able to come upon
him and the earth fully on that date because of some
supposed physical alignment between the center of the
galaxy and the earth?
"And then shall that Wicked be revealed... Even him,
whose coming is after the working of Satan with all
power" (2 Thessalonians 2:8-9).
Could the Antichrist portray December 21, 2012 as
the date of Satan's "victory over God", of "the sun
of Lucifer blocking the black hole of YHWH"; and as
the date of Satan's "returning to earth to liberate
mankind into its true spiritual destiny"?
Could December 21, 2012 instead be the date of
Satan's defeat and casting to the earth with all his
angels?
"There was war in heaven: Michael and his angels
fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and
his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their
place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon
was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and
Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast
out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with
him" (Revelation 12:7-9).
"Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea!
for the devil is come down unto you, having great
wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short
time" (Revelation 12:12).
At that point, the devil could know that he has only
until 2016 until he is cast into the bottomles pit at
the return of Jesus Christ of Nazareth from heaven,
when Jesus will send out an angel to bind him.
"And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the
key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his
hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old
serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him
a thousand years, and cast him into the bottomless
pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that
he should deceive the nations no more, till the
thousand years should be fulfilled" (Revelation
20:1-3).

"He shall confirm the covenant with many for one
week" (Daniel 9:27).
Exactly who will be making that Covenant is the question.
The original Hebrew word for "week" literally means
"seven", so this could refer to the Antichrist
confirming a seven-year peace treaty. He could do
this in 2009, confirming a treaty supposed to last
until 2016; the context of Daniel 9:27 shows how
this could be the case.
The Prophecy is talking about 70 weeks not just the one you
decided to pick out of context to debase.
---
(Danial 9: 24 comes before 25.
24Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and
upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to
make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for
iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and
to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the
most Holy.)
"From the going forth of the commandment to restore
and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince
shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks"
(Daniel 9:25).
When you correctly read it it is pointing to one
particular week of the 70 weeks and that one is the last
week of the prophecy.
7 weeks Plus 62 week is what?
Is it not 69 weeks and
it is pointing to the next week to talk about it, not
separating it from the whole prophecy to become some other
prophecy in and of itself to be fulfilled in some obscure
future time not even comprehecable.
That last week of the prophecy is when The Prince or the
Messiah would be fulfilling that last week.
Notice the Capital P on that Prince, While the other prince
did not have a Capital p.
It started when Jesus Was Baptized and in the middle of that week
they Crucified Him so He was "cut off"
The last week is not for any time other then from 27 AD to 34AD,
I think that is the seven that was mentioned and it is a fulfilled
prophecy.
---
"And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be
cut off" (Daniel 9:26).
Or it could be none of your imaginings and remains
part of the origional prophecy.
---
"And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one
week" (Daniel 9:27).
Jesus misson was to Confirm the New Covenant with
Many of his Disciples.
That last week of the prophecy that it was talking about
was talking about that Messiah that most all of the Old
Testament was prophesying about and Daniel was
geting the time when that Messiah would be appearing
in the flesh.
Because the original Hebrew word for "week" literally
means "seven", this could refer to the Antichrist
confirming his treaty with the false Messiah before
the UN, promising to keep it for seven years, or
until 2016.
Yes and "seven" was the last week of years of the Prophecy.
---
2016 could be the year that Jesus Christ of Nazareth
will return from heaven.
24:32-34).
Jesus of Nazareth has been coming back to individuals
for the last 2,000 years,
Did you miss His Coming? Did you not ask Him
to dwell in you?
Snip the imaginations and probabilities and assumtions.
But before the Antichrist arises in Daniel 11:21,
another leader has to arise who will fulfill Daniel
11:13-19 by defeating Israel and Egypt.
That antichrist did show himself in that great office of
the Vatican starting in 538 AD and that office was in power
for the Prophesied 1260 Years.
Then it received it's Deadly wound you may see in Rev 13.
snip more imaginations
---
"And in the midst of the week (seven) he shall cause
the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the
overspreading of abominations he shall make it
desolate" (Daniel 9:27).
That is exactly what happened when Jesus Died on the Cross
3.5 years (half the week) into His ministry.
but Lo and behold the story continues as he came out of the
grave 3 days later and continued his Work.
The Prophecy did not stop but continued on after Jesus was
Cut off (Crucified) and 3.5 years later the Covenant was taken
away from the Children of Israel and sent out to the Gentiles.
This could mean
Snip the Could have
"That man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is
called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God
sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he
is God" (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4).
That man of Sin Did that when He took the throne in the
Vatican and set hiself up as god on the throne of the Papacy.
and every one that took that office after him was also that
man of Sin. for the next 1260 Prophetic years or "days".
That office did receive the deadly would but that wound
was healed in 1929 when another man of sin took that
throne and reactivated the papacy as it is today But in a
lesser power then it had injoyed in the earlier times.
You are rewriting the Bible with your assumtions and miss
quotings.
"Ye therefore shall see the abomination of
desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in
the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand)"
(Matthew 24:15).
Yes but it was not part of the 70 weeks of the Prophecy
but beyond the scope of the 70 weeks.
This could occur on December 21, 2012, the winter
solstice. During the season of the winter solstice,
It could have also occured in history as it was
prophesied it would occur. in 538 AD.
Wake up O Sleeper it may be a bit later in prophetic
History then you claim.
snip more unexpectations
The Antichrist will make everyone worship Satan and
himself: "And they worshipped the dragon which gave
power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast"
(Revelation 13:4). Could the Antichrist choose
December 21, 2012 as the date to commit the
abomination of desolation, to proclaim himself and
Satan as God, based on some significant "spiritual"
connection on that date between Satan and the earth,
whereby the powers of Satan will be able to come upon
him and the earth fully on that date because of some
supposed physical alignment between the center of the
galaxy and the earth?
Now you are mixing and missmatching prophesies into
one big confusing wreck of Prophecy and out of context
bible presenting.
"And then shall that Wicked be revealed... Even him,
whose coming is after the working of Satan with all
power" (2 Thessalonians 2:8-9).
That was going on all during the Dark ages of History
of the last 1500 years not some time in the obscure tomorrows.
Could the Antichrist portray December 21, 2012 as
the date of Satan's "victory over God", of "the sun
of Lucifer blocking the black hole of YHWH"; and as
the date of Satan's "returning to earth to liberate
mankind into its true spiritual destiny"?
NO!
You have no authority to predict the Future.
At best all you have is today and nothing beyond today
as far as the Bible is concerned.
Could December 21, 2012 instead be the date of
Satan's defeat and casting to the earth with all his
angels?
AGAIN NO !
Not a realistic assumtion at all Keep it to only today
and read your History books and you may see that
the Bible prophesies do not start when you read the
Bible but when the Bible was Written.
Thank you for the opportunity to replay to your mistaken
assumtions.
M,
"And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the
key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his
20:1-3).
