A few thoughts for fellow Jehovah's Witnesses who have stumbled into this
dark void in cyberspace, duped by the misleading implications of this
forum's name. Now we understand the "alt.religion." means "alternative to
religion", thus, now we know "alt.religion.jehovahs-witn" means
"alternative to the religion of Jehovah's Witnesses"! And we have seen the
morbid truth of the alternative religion offered in this place: Meaningless
life devoid of any religion and spirituality. Hopelessness.
Meaningless to who? You? Who are you do judge who has a meaningless life.
Some of us see you JWs having a meaningless life of endless meetings,
endless door to door wasting of time, endless hours wasted reading the
redundant Watchtower literaure. How much more meaningless and hopeless can
life get for you still suffering JWs?
Despair.
What kind of despair? I am unaware of any of my friends who fled the WTS,
or any of my atheist friends of living in despair.
Death in the depths
of feeling alone.
That makes no sense. Feeling alone how?
Turning away from Jehovah's outstretched arms and the
comfort of Jesus Christ's spiritual warmth and never ending love.
His outstretched arms that demand you practice predjudice, make so many
meetings a week, go door to door no matter how you feel about it and force
yourself to read the endless reams of WTS rags and books or get tossed in to
a lake-o-fire? How is that spiritual warmth? You live in constant FEAR and
anxiety. You people have no life.
Not a failed system of values we live in... but in all truth, a failed
system of THINGS.
It's all about things, from houses to cars to growing rich as measured in
the currency value of one's net worth to filling the gullet to escape the
emptiness of living without hope...
Living with out what hope? That someday we're forced to live side by side
with the likes of you, Sherwood, Jabriol, Linda, Boydette and other JWs
we've meet here?
Where is the joy? Where is the meaning in life?
You find the endless meeting and having no life a joy? Is that because they
told you it was a joy? Who are you to judge other people's lives?
When will the inhabitants of Earth joyfully proclaim: It's a wonderful
life!
Soon!
Uh, no thanks.... see above. To spend all eternity with you people would be
HELL.
