His argument that "God is love, and love exists, thus God exists"
states God=Love, math tells us that if God=Love, the reverse which he
denies as being true Love=God is also true (= being "is"; as in God is
Love, thus Love is God) !!!!!!!!!!!
I see. You forget that the word "god" is a title not a proper name. I
title is used as an adjective, i.e. King James, Lord Jehovah or just Lord or
King. Hence "God is love" is not a mathematical equation as little as the
"sky is blue" is one. Reverse either of them and you speak nonsense.
We Christians know, that there is an unspoken but understood part to
"God is love", namely: Among many other such qualities "God is love". (1
John 4:8,16)

Christ disagreed with many things in Judaism, and so do we Christians
who are His followers. See below some of the things He disagreed with.

His teaching is a humongous step up from Judaism's Exodus 21:23-24
"If any harm follows, then you shall give life for life, eye for eye, tooth
for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound,
stripe for stripe."

So what. It's still an equation even if it happens to be false. But:
"sky
is blue" & "god is love" are different kinds of statements. Blue is an
adjective. Love is a noun.
Or a verb.
In the above context, it's a noun. The statement isn't: god loves, or god
is loving.
We do the best we can interpreting what Biblical authors had to tell us.
Now that you have shot down our interpretation, it's time you tell us yours,
Jesse. Interpret the below
