Pastor I see nothing wrong in walking with Jesus; but I don't see anyone
walking with Jesus. : I see many disillusioned people walking with the
Bible. I see many different interpretations of the Bible. I see many poeple
choosing their particular interpretation of the Bible and forming a new
Christian denomination. What I don't see is anyone who actually knows
*Jesus*; I only seee people who know what they haave read about Jesus in an
ancient book. Not only do they not know Jesus, they don't know Yaweh either,
or any of the other deities who are all aspects of the one major deity. (
They actually go so far as to deny the existence of the other deities, based
upon what this ancient book tells them from their own interpretation of it.)
Neither do they know Spirit; as they limit Spirit's power by calling
anything they don't understand "evil" or "of the Devil". Jesus himself used
magick when on earth. : He raised the dead, turned water into wine,
multiplied loaves and fishes..........even after His death Spirit caused
tongues of fire to burn upon members of a gathering and they became
multilingual. : That's all magick. Jesus said "...You shall do works greater
than these....". How can you do that when everything supernatural is
classified "evil"? Does not the Bible state "...And by their works ye shall
know them..."....

with Jesus and doing works anything like His works. (Although while I've

downers of some sort. All you say above is, that by far most people don't
live up to your exalted expectations. That's no surprise, for atheists
always talk about what they perceive to be wrong, faulty or erroneous, never
about anything right.
There is however one certainty in all this: None who would live up to
your expectations will ever make it to heaven, for heaven is solely occupied
by forgiven sinners, none of which lived up to any expectations whatever,
let alone exalted ones, though they may have tried the best they could.
Read the NT of the Bible to find out how this is possible and follow
their example.

Where are the downers? There must be something wrong with your perception. :
First of all you appear to be very closed-minded, inasmuch as rather than
exploring my point of view you instantly reject it without so much as a
second glance, since it doesn't agree perfectly with yours. Learned people
listen to and discuss everything; whether or not they agree with it at the
time, as in all knowledge and in every idea, whether or not you agree with
it, is at least one seed of a new idea. To plant that seed one has to listen
and digest the material, and its' germination comes about through a
combination of thought and discussion.

Read the NT of the Bible to find out
how this is possible and follow
their example.
Read the original manuscripts and note the many deliberate translation
anomalies and omissions. Read the Nag Hammadi Library and see a lot more of
the true unaltered Bible that the Popes have censored. : In it you'll
discover gospels that you never knew existed, such as the Gospel of Mary,
The Gospel of Thomas, The Gospel of Truth. You'll also read works that have
true poetical inspiration equal to that of the Psalms; such as The Thunder,
Perfect Mind. Expand your horizons if you dare to break out of your
self-imposed comfort-zone of ignorance, and journey beyond the mind and the
heart, to a place in between consciousness and reality.
