Scripture: Matt. 28:16-20; Key Verse: Matt. 28:19

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of
the Son and of the Holy Spirit."

Four stirring, motivational forces were behind the disciples' desire

to

proclaim the gospel message: (1) their personal experience with the Lord;
(2) the promise of Christ's presence with them; (3) the promise and the
coming of the Holy spirit; and (4) the memory of the way Jesus dealt with
those who were hurting. Theirs was a vision without boundaries.
However, their ministry certainly did not begin that way. There was a
time on the Sea of Galilee when doubt and confusion ruled their minds.

That

was until Jesus stood up in the boat and commanded the waves and the winds
to be still.
There was a night when all but one deserted our Savior, and that one

was

frightened and overcome with sorrow. The disciples wanted to believe

Christ

was the One promised by God, but their vision was shortsighted--much like
ours at times.
Jesus knew the Father's plan reached to eternity. It was His destiny

to

become the Lamb of God who would take away the sins of the world. No
boundaries erected by man or Satan could stop the plan of God.
The same God who raised Christ from the grave is alive in every
believer. Never place boundaries on the vision God brings: "He who began

a

good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus" (Phil. 1:6
NSAB).
What a wonderful, glorious Friend, Master, and Savior we have in

Jesus.

Dear heavenly Father, remove every boundary
that limits Your work in my life. Expand my
spiritual borders. Give me vision without boundaries.

Scripture:
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where
Jesus had appointed them. 17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him:

but

some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is
given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of
the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have
commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the

world.

Amen. KJV

learn and develop tells you that you will never
be fully competent at anything. Each of us will
always have plenty of room for growth, and
that's part of God's design for us."
