Whether he lurks in your belief system or not, the
Devil is often encountered as a caricature, metaphor or
character on page or screen.
That's about as REAL as he is, too.
To most people of faith, the Prince of Darkness is
real, either as entity or symbol. Demonic possesion can
be caused by various things such as:
Interest or obssesion by a demon for a mortal.
Un-natural obssesion in the occult.
Develing in practises such as the quigi board.
Various magic's
voluntary possesion
Weak personality
Sinfull in nature
...BUT -- most dangerous of all -- being **conned** into
thinking that any such danger really EXISTS.
By a collection of fundie fruitcakes.
Bottom line: Simply accept Jesus as your Savior, learn what
the Bible REALLY teaches, and employ common sense.
And then as a Christian, you won't need to fear EITHER
"the devil" or a collection of deceptive loons.
