This Usenet News Group (NG) is an open forum -- that means there are no
rules other than what you'd expect in a shouting match between village
idiots in the town square.

While this is a Christian News Group, everyone is welcome -- which means
there are Atheists, Bigots, Pagans and Trolls of every kind posting
here, some hoping to lure you into a debate to reveal how intelligent
they are...

So, in the hope that you might be prevented from stepping into the
quagmire with such a poster, the following Good Idea is offered...

GOOD IDEA
Learn something about a poster before you engage in a debate with them.

For example,
Anyone who cares can learn all about the Usenet 10xTroll Dave (aka
Azaliah, "Pastor Dave", "Ananias917" "70AD") with a little stroll
through google...

... or Ben Mitts, Athanasius, baba, Randy (aka Pulpitfire) Fred Stover,
me (oldwetdog) [& etc] (of course, use the names which are meaningful to
you -- which is the whole GOOD IDEA).

What I'm suggesting here is a good idea for any poster. By that I mean
that it is a good idea to know something about a poster BEFORE you get
into a debate with them. Trolls especially like to get a newbe into a
flame war exchange... so save yourself the bother by googling first.

google for his/her posts by using his/her name in the Poster field,

Or, google for what others say about her/him by using his/her name in
the key words (search terms, exact phrase) fields

In search terms (key words) --
An interesting study would be to attempt to see how many different
posters (s)he has labeled a "fool" "idiot" "liar" "stupid" and/or other
derogatory terms... OR, how many people have used those terms to label,
or libel, him/her/them.

Glenn, you are the worse of all. With every response that
you write, you are slamming someone.

What never ceases to amaze me, is that you post something
like this and yet, know what you do to others.

You ran your family off with your demands and hypocrisy
and now you wish to play innocent here. Yet we can look
today and see your evil.

Does this mean I'm claiming to be perfect? No, not at all.
But do you see the difference there Glenn? I admit that
I'm not perfect. You think you are, even as you, even
within the same message, hypocritically...

1) Snip words and complain about your words being snipped.

2) Call people names and complain that you have been called
names.

3) Lie about people and complain that someone lied about you.

4) Manipulate someone's words, so that it appears that they
said the opposite of what they actually said, such as when
you did that to me and claimed I confessed to rape, when
I actually said the exact opposite and then you complain
that this has been done to you.

5) Demand that people show you where exact wording they
wrote can be underlined in the Bible, while refusing to
do so with your own claims about what the Bible says.

6) Fabricate stories about people, while complaining that
they do this about you.

7) Lie about what people have done to you, while doing it
to them. And even, as I said, in the very same message.
It takes a pretty dim bulb to do these things, Glenn! (:

"nuclear war free zone" that you were trying to manipulate
your family into moving to? Or did you harass them about it
all that time and then end up staying in an area that would be
affected anyway, thereby losing your family for nothing except
your own paranoia?

You might try "preterism" or "rapture" or "millennial" or any term which
interest you -- like Atom Bomb or Nuclear War,,.

Of course, terms like "trump of God" "Last Trumpet" and other Prophetic
Signs are good too... like "Beginning of Sorrows," or "release of Satan
from the pit," etc....

Also interesting is how many different posters he/she has said would
benefit from a "bullet in the brain" ... (or any other threat)
