You have two options.
1) Believe all of the Bible.
2) Toss it aside. If it is not what it claims to be,
then you can't trust any of it. To claim otherwise,
is to simply substitute your judgment and it is to
assume that you can fill this role.
The problem with Dave's first statement is that the Bible
contains (some of) the lies of Satan. Dave states you must
believe them.
And we can believe that they were Satan's lies, because
the Bible is the word of God and is trustworthy.
The problem with Dave's second statement is that
you are placing your trust in all the interpreters
and translators, the Commentators and Theologians
who claim authority over what constitutes the Bible.
So now they are all wrong about what constitutes the Bible.
This is nothing more than your attempt to dismiss whatever
Scriptures do not agree with your point of view and the fact
is, by making these claims, you are saying that there is no
such thing as the Bible, as I will further demonstrate below.
The truth is, that if we believe your statement, then we
cannot possibly have any clue as to what is Scripture
and should just toss the Bible aside, since you describe
the Bible as, "interpreters and translators and commentators
and theologians, all claiming authority over what
constitutes the Bible" and you clearly imply that none
of them can be trusted. In fact, you don't even make
a difference between translators and commentators.
So tell us Glenn... Now that you have eliminated
the following:
1) Translators.
2) Interpreters.
3) Commentators.
4) Theologians.
5) Paul's writings.
6) Most of the Bible.
....what is left? Oh wait, that's right, we have you!
Okay folks, there it is. Now we know how to find truth!
All we have to do is ask Glenn! You see folks, Glenn is
more powerful than any Bible and any other person who
has studied it and translated it, etc.!

Consider the word "Scripture." In the most strict definition,
"All Scripture is God-breathed." By this strict and exacting
definition, "Scripture" is exactly -- and nothing less than --
what God Himself has spoken.
No, that's not correct and you know that. You are making this
claim, because you have been trying to dismiss Paul's writings
as not being the word of God.
Scripture is whatever God inspired those men to write. Are
you really this stupid and desperate, that you are going to
try to convince people that when Paul said this, he did not
have what we now call the Old Testament in mind?
How many times did Paul quote passages from the Old Testament,
that were not stated by God Himself and clearly call them
Scripture? Many times! Oh but wait, according to you,
Paul's writings are not Scripture anyway, because you
couldn't refute what we said about 1 Cor 7:1-9! Please! (:
And what you cannot seem to get through your head, is that
you are saying that there is no Old, nor New Testament.
You are saying that there is no Bible!
You see, you claim that unless God said it Himself, it isn't
Scripture.
What you don't consider, is that by claiming that unless God
Himself spoke it, it isn't Scripture, that means that you must
also eliminate most of the Old Testament.
And since you deny the Trinity, that means that according
to your own doctrine, Jesus was not God and therefore,
His words must be eliminated, since they cannot be Scripture,
since He is not God according to you and therefore, it was
not God speaking and therefore, is not Scripture.
Thus, according to you, Scripture actually consists of just
a few pages of text and 95% at minimum of our Bible
can be eliminated and must be eliminated, according to you!
So how can we trust anything found in it? And you aren't
even bright enough to realize that you have just trashed
your own doctrines, that you keep claiming are true,
"because the Bible says so"!
And here son, is further proof that YOU KNOW that
you are lying!
Here is a quote of a comment you made about Matthew 24:3
(and note that these words were not spoken by God Himself
and yet, you called it "Scripture"):
"The scripture in Matthew and Hebrews is translated in
the KJV as 'the end of the world.' Later translations render
these passages 'end of the age.'"

So here you are, proving that both Matthew and Hebrews
are "Scripture" and yet, they didn't consist of God Himself
speaking the things that you mentioned in them. Hmmm...

By this strict definition, then, the words spoken by Satan

But yet you seem to think that when you don't like something
that Scripture says, that it's okay to make up some new rule
out of the thin blue sky and claim that what we have, that is
called "The Holy Bible", is not Scripture, with the exception
of a few pages of it.
By what authority do you make this new rule, that not Jesus,
nor any of the Apostles believed? What makes you a bigger
authority than they were?
You are sad and truly pathetic! Because you couldn't argue
your way out of what 1 Corinthians 7:1-9 says, you chose
to lie about Randy and I, claiming we rape our wives and
to falsely attribute words to us that we never said and to
go on to claim that the Bible is not the word of God!
I really feel bad for you! You will have a lot to answer for,
come the day of your judgment, which will be the day you
die and immediately after you die! If I were you Glenn,
I would spend my time repenting and asking the people
you have harmed for forgiveness and then asking God
for forgiveness, for thinking that you are greater than God!
In fact, any words composed, _authored and claimed_
by someone other than God are NOT scripture.

This was not God speaking directly. But what did Jesus say
about it, when He quoted it?
"And have ye not read THIS SCRIPTURE; The stone which
the builders rejected is become the head of the corner."
- Mark 12:10
"And He was numbered with the transgressors."
- Isaiah 53:12
This was not God speaking directly. But what does
the Gospel say about it?
"And THE SCRIPTURE was fulfilled, which saith, And
he was numbered with the transgressors." - Mark 15:28
Now there are many more than I can quote, which were not
God speaking directly, which is what YOU SAID IS REQUIRED,
in order for something to be Scripture and yet, the Bible
calls these passages, "Scripture".
So who is right, Glenn? Are the writers correct for calling
them Scripture? Or should we believe you, even over Jesus?
It seems that while you love to try to discredit the Bible
whenever you get bagged lying, the reality is, that we
have the Bible telling us that the words do not have to
be directly spoken by God to be Scripture and we have
you confessing that what was not directly spoken by
God is Scripture, thus contradicting yourself.

I knew it the moment I read his message that he was
attempting to dredge up old points to cause as much
damage as could be done because he was running
out of material to keep his silly war going! Many ene-
mies resort to this way of waging war when they run
out of ammunition to fight honestly and legitimately
The two things most required to make sure ones side
or points of view, makes sure discussions are always
on the up and up! Well spoken, who else does these
same things when it looks like their side is losing
ground! A whole host of them still reside out here so
dont worry, my friend I caught his attempt, if you will,
immediately, because was referring to old news the
same as OWD has dredged up in hopes of keeping him
self on top of the hill og deceit.
These tactics are always used by people who cant
accept they could be losing an argument! Very rare-
ly works to any degree to be useful- basically it gives
clear indication that those who use them have no real
chance of winning an argument or that they have run
out of ammunition to keep on fighting for their cause.
When one decides to surf, as I often choose to do, one
can view these frail attempts in their proper order and
it becomes sad to watch it all unfold!

I do not get involved in many different discussions. Although not completely
thick, I am not a very intellect person (as in wisdom of this world). I
don't count this as a disadvantage, because it means I have to prayerfully
read, and ask God to show me.
What I do know is this Ben, We (the Body of Christ) remain on earth, to be a
light and a witness of Christ, and to preach the Gospel. We the Church lack
power in the preaching of the Gospel, because we lack authority. We lack
God's Authority, because we do not subject ourselves to God's Authority.
There is only one Authority. Though we are all equal as men and women, we
have our calling and our office according to God's design, and purpose. The
gifts and calling of God are without repentance. Our office and callings are
not for our own gain, but for the betterment and building up of others, and
ultimately for the Glory of God.
The Authority of God invested in us, is not invested in the person, but in
the office and calling. It is not our authority, but God's. Like Jesus (when
on earth) we are made a little lower then the angels (and the fallen angels)
We don't have authority to bind up the strong man, and take his spoils. To
bind up the strong man, we have to call on a greater authority then the
strong man. How can we call on His Authority, if we ourselves will not
recongnise or subject ourselves to His Authority?
This whole discussion around 1Cor 7, is not (or should not) Vic, Glen, Dave,
Randy or Ben being right or wrong. We cannot take what Paul has said on
marriage in 1Cor 7, in isolation to the rest of Scripture.

BTW, Vic, whatever Dave and I had disagree-
ment with was between me and him! I believe
we settled it enough to forget our differences
and move on. Why dont you settle up wit Dave
and Randy so we can all get together to serve
God in The Army of Jesus Christ! If we did we
could do some of the Miracles Jesus said we
could do even greater than Him- It's what He
wants from us. As for me I am going to give
Him all my time and do what He wants for a

I do not get involved in many different discussions. Although not completely
thick, I am not a very intellect person (as in wisdom of this world). I
don't count this as a disadvantage, because it means I have to prayerfully
read, and ask God to show me.
What I do know is this Ben, We (the Body of Christ) remain on earth, to be a
light and a witness of Christ, and to preach the Gospel. We the Church lack
power in the preaching of the Gospel, because we lack authority. We lack
God's Authority, because we do not subject ourselves to God's Authority.
There is only one Authority. Though we are all equal as men and women, we
have our calling and our office according to God's design, and purpose. The
gifts and calling of God are without repentance. Our office and callings are
not for our own gain, but for the betterment and building up of others, and
ultimately for the Glory of God.
The Authority of God invested in us, is not invested in the person, but in
the office and calling. It is not our authority, but God's. Like Jesus (when
on earth) we are made a little lower then the angels (and the fallen angels)
We don't have authority to bind up the strong man, and take his spoils. To
bind up the strong man, we have to call on a greater authority then the
strong man. How can we call on His Authority, if we ourselves will not
recongnise or subject ourselves to His Authority?
This whole discussion around 1Cor 7, is not (or should not) Vic, Glen, Dave,
Randy or Ben being right or wrong. We cannot take what Paul has said on
marriage in 1Cor 7, in isolation to the rest of Scripture.

I've never seen Owd come right out and confess that Jesus is
God. If he doesn't believe Jesus is God, He doesn't have a
Savior, and will surely suffer eternal torments in the flames
of hell fire. If that's the case, he'll wish he could have
stayed on earth and been hit by a nuclear bomb rather than
endure the flaming torments of the wrath of God almighty! God
will stomp him in the winepress of the fury of His wrath. His
blood won't just run down his legs, it will fly!
Thus, according to you, Scripture actually consists of just
a few pages of text and 95% at minimum of our Bible
can be eliminated and must be eliminated, according to you!
