idea... a Polytheist, Mary worshipping reprobate Atheist. in fact,
all of the so called scientists supporting the philosophy of the Big
Bang seek only to pursue a Godless universe simply because they are
" without God " just as the Bible meaning of the words goes...
abandoned and left for dead while awaiting Judgement.
I have great difficulty believing that this "Old Man Joe" can actually be
this stupid!

from letting his faith grow with experience and learning about the
world around hi. OK - stupidity. Either way, he doesn't seem to read
replies to his posts and certainly doesn't respond to them. This just
makes him an incredibly bad advertisement for Christianity.

I know nothing about old man joe, but you calling him stupid is a
good advertisement for Christianity?
And why does he need to learn so much about the world around him?
Should he not instead be focused on God, on God's Word, on
growing more Christ-like, and not just experiencing the world
around him? (I don't know if he does or not, but just saying
isn't God what he should be focused on, not the world)
The only thing we need to know about the world is most people are
lost and headed towards a disaster on their day of judgment, and
that we need to spread the good news of what Christ did for us;
and teach people that they've sinned against God and are headed
towards disaster, and that they must repent. Other than that, as
far as the world is concerned, it only teaches people how to
reject God and continue sinning against Him.

While I don't agree with Andrew's "this part of the bible is true,
this part is allegory, this part..." Christianity, I can say that at
least he maintains some objectivity. He thinks. He assesses evidence
and if he is rebutted on something I have yet to see him repost it
again and again as though he never knew any better. I can certainly
respect that... And if you read more from OMJoe, and practiced the
same honest inquiry you might come to the same conclusion as Andrew....
