These photos are only of a very tiny fraction of the thousands of Iraqi
Civilian Victims who have been terrorised, humiliated, injured, maimed
and killed through British and American bombing of civilian areas in
various cities of Iraq. Due to lack of security, independent reporters could
not and still can not reach many areas to photograph and report the
atrocities. Several independent reporters and journalists were
deliberately bombed to prevent them reporting the atrocities.
Please note that some of these pictures are not suitable for small
children and those who have weak hearts.

Obviously it doesn't.

You can't get less violent than to love your enemies and do good

Jesus Christ.

Obviously not since that is not how christian behave. Like it or not,
actions speak louder than words.

Obviously not since he said,
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not
to send peace, but a sword.
Luke 12:51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you,
Nay; but rather division: For from henceforth there shall be five in one
house divided, three against two, and two against three. The father shall be
divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against
the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against
her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Luke 22:36 He that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

I don't see any blood flowing here, nor Christ telling anyone to kill
anyone else. But then it's atheist doctrine to vilify, trash and flame
interminably, gushing downers ad infinitum. But that's what people in hell
do. See below
Pastor Frank
Jesus in Mt:8:12: But the children of Satan's kingdom shall be cast into
outer darkness: There shall be wailing (of interminable complaints and
accusations) and the gnashing of teeth (in frustration and impotent rage).

as per Jesus Christ,

According to the myth, he violently attacked the money-changers.

Yes, with a whip made of some string lying about. Are you into SM?

though some ignore this injunction.

Proving that it cannot be a divinely-inspired religion.

What then IS a "divinely-inspired religion"? I bet there are none, for
atheist doctrine won't allow any religion to be "divinely inspired". LOL

Since you have difficulty understanding that, I'll put it this way:
clearly christianity has no infallable teachings, for they all have failed.
Every time your prophets like Pat Robertson, George Bush, Fred Phelps,
that Hitler Youth in St. Peter's, Jerry Falwell, or gambling lobbiest Ralph
Reed open their mouths is is clear: if what is attribute to christ is the
goal of christianity, christianity is a miserable failure.

I would include the charlatan Benny Hinn right in there too

There is however no such requirement for atheists who can do unto others,
...whatever they can get away with, without feeling guilty nor
remorseful.

But the christian is "Jesus died for your sins," so it is christians who
never consider the consequences of their actions. If they do the wrong
thing, christianity teaches, god will forgive them and make it right with
the victims. So when the christian god says "Black skin is the mark of
Ham.
Africans should be your slave, hewing wood and drawing water," christians
rush out and enslave Africans. They never consider whether it right or
wrong; they only worry if it will make them enough money.

That's a rather simplistic view which ignores the need for repentance
and supplication. Furthermore, born-again Christians always ask: What Would
Jesus Do?, and do that.

Jesus would care which tribe gets a gambling concession to the exclusion of
their competitors? Since christians do, obvious that is what jesus would
do.

Obviously Jesus would not enslave anyone. However
many Christians are not born-again and don't ask that question. They do
that, so that atheists can gloat, trash and flame, and you fall for it. LOL

Do I detect a note of jealousy, that you can't rake it in as well as
Benny can? Selling flashlights losing its lustre? LOL
Look at it from this side: Benny is not selling healings as much as he
is selling hope. Once you lose hope, you look for death. Christ said, you
will find what you are looking for more so, than what you are not looking
for. So it makes sense to look for life and purpose instead.

So in your books, giving you hope is cheating, even if hope is what
keeps you alive. Bob you are a heartless SOB, aren't you, AND proud of it!!!

Yes well I realised that a long time ago at age around
nine when some preacher was waffling on about a fella two thousand years

walking in water.

It probably was a shallow spot, He knew, and the others didn't. But then
what has that to do with anything? Is Jesus Christ just a water-walker to
you? He means a lot more to us, and unless you get serious, you will never
know what we have, that you haven't.

It's all a con. Well if yer like it , live with it. I'll chose freedom.

Sure if bad goes to worse with you, you will choose hopelessness and

[Dan Barker, Losing Faith in Faith]

Don't all killers "trust themselves". I bet if you asked Hitler or
Stalin or Pol Pot, you will get people who trusted themselves 100%, and had
not only all their actions fully justified to the satisfaction of
themselves, as well as to a great many other people, and surely having no
qualms doing unto others, ....whatever they could get away with.
Are you really that naive, to believe that the worst of the worst don't
trust themselves fully, AND are often enough able to convince others to join
them in doing unto others what they would hate to have done unto themselves?
At least we Christians know, what Christ would have done. There may be some
who would disregard Jesus and do the opposite, and again convince the simple
minded, much like you, that they are supposedly doing God's will.

Hinn fabricates the aftermath of his so called 'miracles' that he
claims
happened yesterday or last week, never live on camera, but of course he
pays
good money for his character actors since he gets it back selling
pathetic
trinkets like
"""Junior Rosaries""" [all leading credit cards accepted]
Religion is, inter alia, a con now
it was a con yesterday
and it was a con two thousand years ago

Do I detect a note of jealousy, that you can't rake it in as well as
Benny can? Selling flashlights losing its lustre? LOL

Hinn 'glossed over' ; well done, it is a skill that many religionists have
polished to a fine art, having little else left on which to support their
myths

Look at it from this side: Benny is not selling healings as much as
he
is selling hope. Once you lose hope, you look for death. Christ said, you
will find what you are looking for more so, than what you are not looking
for. So it makes sense to look for life and purpose instead.

So it's ok to cheat?

So in your books, giving you hope is cheating, even if hope is what
keeps you alive. Bob you are a heartless SOB, aren't you, AND proud of it!!!

Yes well I realised that a long time ago at age around
nine when some preacher was waffling on about a fella two thousand years
ago
walking in water.

It probably was a shallow spot, He knew, and the others didn't. But then
what has that to do with anything?

A lot, if it is a con.
How about the curing of that leper/? Why diudn't 'He' cure all of them instead
of just one?
And then there was that 'Take up thy bed and walk" fella, why not cure all of
the lame instead of just one?
Mythology pure and simple.

Is Jesus Christ just a water-walker to
you? He means a lot more to us, and unless you get serious, you will never
know what we have, that you haven't.

It's all a con. Well if yer like it , live with it. I'll chose freedom.

Sure if bad goes to worse with you, you will choose hopelessness and
defeat instead of hope and a positive attitude.

"I have something to say to the religionist who feels atheists never say
anything positive: You are an intelligent human being. Your life is
valuable
for its own sake. You are not second-class in the universe, deriving
meaning
and purpose from some other mind. You are not inherently evil--you are
inherently human, possessing the positive rational potential to help make
this
a world of morality, peace and joy. Trust yourself."

Because Jesus did NOT heal. As He said over an over: "Your faith has

Oh so it is simple minded to reject the Christian god when there are thousands

On the contrary it is simple minded to insist on your own particular deity,
knowing full well there are thousands of others - now THAT IS simple minded.

The originals of most holy scriptures was penned in poetic format. Have
you ever heard of, or even considered poetic metaphor? The below was an
atheist in poetry class asked to evaluate a love poem. It's a gem of
primitive atheist simple-mindedness.
Pastor Frank
ATHEIST LITERALISM
Atheists usually display major problems with interpretation of symbols
and metaphor, and not just religious ones. Most seem to have failed their
literary comprehension courses. It's common for such students to hand
in assignments to critically evaluate a love poem, containing the
following sentiments:
"The comparison of the beloved's features to astronomical bodies is
specious if not spurious to say the least. For apart from the chemical
composition of said features, the face of the beloved has no connection
with, nor similitude to astronomical objects, such as the sun, moon and
stars, alluded to in the poem."

Obviously it doesn't.

You can't get less violent than to love your enemies and do good
unto
those who persecute you. And those were the commandments of Jesus
Christ.

Obviously not since that is not how christian behave. Like it or not,
actions speak louder than words.

as per Jesus Christ,

According to the myth, he violently attacked the money-changers.

Yes, with a whip made of some string lying about. Are you into
SM?

though some ignore this injunction.

Proving that it cannot be a divinely-inspired religion.

What then IS a "divinely-inspired religion"? I bet there are
none,
for
atheist doctrine won't allow any religion to be "divinely inspired".
LOL

Since you have difficulty understanding that, I'll put it this way:
clearly christianity has no infallable teachings, for they all have
failed.
Every time your prophets like Pat Robertson, George Bush, Fred Phelps,
that Hitler Youth in St. Peter's, Jerry Falwell, or gambling lobbiest
Ralph
Reed open their mouths is is clear: if what is attribute to christ is
the
goal of christianity, christianity is a miserable failure.

I would include the charlatan Benny Hinn right in there too

Found yourself another one to lambaste and flame? Tell us about the
one
you contrast Benny Hinn with and who is NOT a "charlatan" in your view?
It's
about time you found someone of equal public stature to praise, affirm,

Yes that is my retirement 'keep the old mind working' hobby business, it gets
me to meet people and helps pay the light bills.
Last week my wife and I attended, as the founding retired CEO of the Toyota
dealership here that I ran for twenty four years, their fortieth anniversary
party. Some of my old staff are still working there including four disabled
persons who I took on years ago. It was heart warming to be with them again
and to be on stage toasting a company that was celebrating it's fortieth
anniversary.
It reminded me also of the early eighties, the economy was booming, we could
never get enough cars to meet demand but our competitors were plowing back
profits into full page media adverts in daily papers both English and Chinese,
it was sheer madness so I came up with an idea. For six months after
cancelling all advertising and we gave away instead a 14 seater bus each month
to charity hospitals and the like..
Now put your thinking cap on and see if you can find something Christian and
nasty to say in response.
Oh and by the way, I can send at least ten photos from the party including the
disabled, if you care to provide an appropriate email address. I don't think I
am allowed to post them here.

Nice that you did some good somewhere, and you should be congratulated
for that, but this is not the issue here. Benny Hinn meets people with
cancer etc. who by all accounts should have given up hope long ago and just
lie there waiting for death. And there comes Benny Hinn giving them hope
again and confidence and causing them take issue with their problem in a
positive manner, all the while in the knowledge, that they haven't been
abandoned by their maker, no matter what the outcome.
Every statistic confirms, that hope aids healing and that losing hope
hastens death. See whether there is any heart left inside that stone-cold
exterior of yours, and whether you could add "giving hope to the hopeless"
to your list of good works.

'False hope' that puts another million in his bank account. It's a con.
I remember watching a young black boy with his father on the Hinn 'show'
[since that's all it is] standing behind with his hands firmly on his son's
shoulders "Tell us what happened to your arm" Hinn asks him. In a sheepish
guilty and embarrassed voice he told how it was withered and then god cured it
for him. I could see his dad holding on his son no doubt muttering under his
teeth "Mess this up kid and I wont get that fat cheque from Mr. Hinn.
Religion is a con, pure and simple, both now and going back as far as yer like.

And there comes Benny Hinn giving them hope

But we were not made by a god, that Frank is the issue here

Hope can be gotten from relatives, friends, doctors, workmates.
No invisible god would give me hope just because an organisation told me it
would
- I would have to do something outrageous
- like asking to see that god.

time in amiable conversation with His and mine enemies?

You have not given up all of your belongings to follow him.

Jesus by His prophecy, you will receive blessings for this in this life and
in the next... Requires this as a one time act, how do you know that Frank
had not done this, and is now reaping his reward ??

You do not spend all your time helping the poor and needy.

No where is "all your time" a requirement

Your conversation is often far from amiable. You seem happy to threaten
people with eternal
damnation for not adopting a lifestyle that you are clearly unwilling to
adopt yourself.

Judge not, is a much safer way to go.

No. I do not preach that everyone should do what Jesus told them to.

You got any evidence for any of that? But then atheists demand evidence

to produce such evidence for their assertions.
Do you suffer from self-aggrandizement, that you expect anyone to

You are being rude, arrogant and unpleasant again. Anyone can look

Jesus "meek and mild" is a myth. See below how he treated those who

evidence. Your personal and private opinions matter nothing in academic

JESUS HOLDS FORTH RE: THE SCRIBES AND PHARISEES
Jesus in Mt:23:13: But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in
yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
14: Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye
devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore
ye shall receive the greater damnation.
15: Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye
compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make
him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
23: Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay
tithe of mint and anise and cumin, and have omitted the weightier matters
of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and
not to leave the other undone.
25: Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make
clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full
of extortion and excess.
27: Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are
like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are
within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
29: Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye
build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the
righteous.
30: And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not
have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
31: Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children
of them which killed the prophets.
32: Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
33: Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the
damnation of hell?
34: Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and
scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall
ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
35: That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth,
from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of
Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
36: Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this
generation.
37: O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest
them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children
together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would
not!
38: Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
39: For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall
say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
Jesus in Jn:8:44: Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of
your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode
not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie,
he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Do you seriously expect anyone to believe that you have given up
everything you own to follow Jesus? Is that a borrowed computer you're
typing on? Were you on the streets helping the homeless this week - or
just working to earn money to spend on yourself and your family?

No, it is not. I am pointing out your hypocrisy. You have been rude to
me, and you are frequently rude and unpleasant to people in this ng.
Now you are also being judgemental. What did Jesus say about that?
I do not tell people to behave like Jesus did. You do. That means you
are setting a standard which you are presumably expecting everyone to
stick to... and yet you are either unable or unwilling to adopt those
standards yourself. You can judge me all you like - your behaviour in
here speaks volumes.

Anyone can look

LOL! So your defence is that you can be an arrogant, rude, judgemental
and unpleasant person because Jesus told some people off? What about
the meek inheriting the Earth, loving thy neighbour, turning the other
cheek... or are you just going to select the bits of Jesus's teachings
that condone your own selfish existence and jettison the rest?

Do you seriously expect anyone to believe that you have given up
everything you own to follow Jesus? Is that a borrowed computer you're
typing on? Were you on the streets helping the homeless this week - or
just working to earn money to spend on yourself and your family?

<snip>
I'm guessing the huge chunk of irrelevant Bible was an attempt to
avoid these questions?
