<Johnny, I have some questions also!!
1) Saved from what??
Your sins
2) Define God.
Read the bible
3) Do we have any evidence that he arose. Before you answer that, go to
Google and put in the following words, "Inanna arose" Now read that
story.
Did Inanna rise from the dead?? If so, why? If not, why?
Yes
4) See 1. Saved from what?? Define faith and grace. Did I read something
about works?
Your sins
5) Define trinity. If I am playing Texas Holdem, and have three aces, is
that a trinity??
1 John 5:7 KJV, Matt 28:18ff
If you have any other questions, just ask!!
Smile. >
So what is your religion Zadok? Are you in the OneNess circle? The JW
Circle, what?

John 14:6 Jesus answered, ģI am the way and
the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father
except through me.

Ahhh. lets see:
1 John 5: 7 -
Everyone knows that the version you state here, does not appear in any bible
before the tenth century, and then it is only a margin note.
Just so you know:
"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and
the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."
The passage is called the Johannine Comma and is not found in the majority
of Greek manuscripts.
Now read the facts:
Although not found in most Greek manuscripts, the Johannine Comma is found
in several. It is contained in 629 (fourteenth century), 61 (sixteenth
century), 918 (sixteenth century), 2473 (seventeenth century), and 2318
(eighteenth century). It is also in the margins of 221 (tenth century), 635
(eleventh century), 88 (twelveth century), 429 (fourteenth century), and 636
(fifteenth century). There are about five hundred existing manuscripts of 1
John chapter five that do not contain the Comma.
Can you follow those dates.
Now read the NIV bible - They have made the correction -
6This is the one who came by water and blood-Jesus Christ. He did not come
by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies,
because the Spirit is the truth. 7For there are three that testify: 8the[a]
Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.
They have taken the old greek texts and made the correction.
The fact remains that the piece about the father, the word and the Holy
Ghost, is a late addition!!
Now lets look at Matthew 28: 18 -
I'll start with the Hebrew Matthew, as translated by George Howard.
Matthew 28: 18 - Jesus drew near to them and said to them: To me has been
given all power in heaven and earth. Go and teach them to carry out all the
things which I have commanded you forever.
Now we will turn our attention to the church historian Eusebius.
In his writings we find that he mentioned Matthew 28: 18 something like 21
times.
But surprisingly in the first 18 of those, he quotes a version that does not
include the Father, Son and Holy Ghost!! In his three times that he does
mention the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, we find that they were all written
AFTER the council of Nicea, where the nature of Jesus was defined.
I'll even give you an example or two. I have no intention of looking up all
21 times for you.
Demonstratio Evangelica -
Book III Chapter 6, page 152
With one word and voice He said to His disciples: "Go, and make disciples
of all the nations in My Name, teaching them to observe all things
whatsoever I have commanded you," [[Matt. xxviii. 19.]]
Book I Chapter 3, page 20.
For He did not bid them to teach the laws of Moses to all nations, but
whatsoever He Himself had commanded: that is to say, the contents of the
Gospels.
Book I Chapter 4, page 24.
according to the commands which He gave his disciples when He said:
"Go ye, and make disciples of all the nations, teaching them to observe all
things, whatsoever I have commanded you."
Book IX Chapter 11, page 175
And He bids His own disciples after their rejection, "Go ye and make
disciples of all nations in my name.''
Now, notice also that any place in the bible that baptism is mentioned,
Father, Son and Holy Ghost is never mentioned.
It is always Baptize them in the name of Jesus.
So, obviously the disciples knew what Jesus command was.
And the evidence from Eusebius shows us that the Father, Son and Holy Ghost,
was added AFTER the council of Nicea!!
Now, why don't you tell us again, how these verses, prove your trinity
theory??
Then Johnny asks!!
So what is your religion Zadok? Are you in the OneNess circle? The JW
Circle, what?
I'm sorry Johnny, I'd love to answer that, but it is classified information.
Smile.

Actually, they're perfectly legitimate responses.
If one is asked "are you saved," it's reasonable to ask from what one
is in danger and in need of saving. Answering "sins" then begs the
question -- what is sin, that one needs saving from it/them?
It's not that difficult, and the answers aren't really unreasonable.
But using religious terminology to explain them doesn't enlighten, but
obscure. Religious answers only make sense in the context of the
religion itself, so if one is *outside* that religion, it's not going
to be very effective.
It's sort of like me trying to convince you that you need to go fight
somebody so you can get 72 virgins. You would be puzzled, and wonder
what in the sam hill I was trying to convey.
