You can look at it anyway you want to. The leader of North Korea during
the Korean
War is long gone from this earth. The leader of North Vietnam, is long
gone from this earth.
Trying someone who is already dead and buried, may make you feel good,
but it won't bother
the guy who is dead and buried.
George Bush isn't dead... yet.
There's still plenty of time to try him for his crimes.
Yep. But if you want give some odds of that happening, I am willing to
take you up on that.
Your assertion, that Bush should not be tried because nobody like him has
been tried before is ludicrous.
Nobody ever got the Palestinians and Israelis to shake hands, play in the
woods, and agree to agree - until President Clinton did it.
I did not say he "should not be tried". My contentiion is, he will not be
tried.

Apparently, you were otherwise disposed when that whole late-term partial
birth abortion thing was in the news. Try to catch up.
The ban on late term abortions is a cynical attempt by anti-choice people
to get a foot in the anti-abortion door. Since it directly impacts the
health of women, and is a medical procedure with has existed long before
legalized abortion, it is unlikely to withstand a court challenge.

While I agree with the sentiment, I disagree with the prediction.
The NeoCons will likely bat PBA's back and forth (legal to illegal and back)

It's worth pointing out that, Bush has done absolutely *nothing* to combat
abortion.
Y'all whackos who support the Iraqi war as a way to fight abortion have
failed on both counts.
He hasn't done anything because the majority of Americans support choice for
women. Only the retarded believe what he says, as opposed to what he does.

I realize that the anti-choice crowd prefers to describe a foetus as a
"baby"; but it's not, and can only become a "baby" by live birth.
This is a legal & medical concept deeply rooted in all cultures of the
world, and no wordplay by anti-choice radicals will make it different.

Sharon Stone Urges Em to Stand Up!
Today at the World Economic Forum:
Stand up, Stone urged, "if you'll be on a team with me, if you'll help
President Mkapa today, because he needs help today, because people are
dying in his country today and that's not OK with me."
"So if you would help children in his country stop dying today, I would
appreciate that and I think he would too." ... "So just stay standing
until someone comes and takes your name and I'll give the microphone
for other questions."
It didn't take long for first one man, then another and another, to
stand up. And a short while later, as the debate closed, moderator Bill
Frist, the US Senate majority leader, announced that Stone had raised
one million dollars.

We are living in the dark and we don't know it.
We are perfectly capable of ending war and poverty forever.
When we end war and poverty, we will be moving out of the dark
and into the light. That we will do that is inevitable.
The only question is when. Few people can even begin to imagine
how much better the world will be.
There's nothing good about brothers fighting. It screws the space up
for everyone.
By our action or inaction - we are always supporting one or the other.
It's an old cliche, but nontheless true that there are no strangers on
this earth, only friends who haven't yet met.

possibly conceive is taught to the common soldier whose trade is to
shoot his fellow men. In youth he may have learned the command, 'Thou
shalt not kill,' but the ruler takes the boy just as he enters manhood
and teaches him that his highest duty is to shoot a bullet through his
neighbor's heart - and this, unmoved by passion or feeling or hatred,
and without the least regard to right or wrong, but simply because his
ruler gives the word."

If you stopped screwing around or started using condoms then there'd be
fewer abortions. Unfortunately, the right wing hates sex education,
hates condoms, and will screw whatever isn't nailed down.
Making abortions illegal will not stop abortions.

So, what does the Sanctity of Human Life have to do with a war of
choice in which 1300 of your fellow Americans along with 10's of
thousands of innocent Iraqi's have died?
By the way, Creationism is not a science.
It's a belief.
Real scientists rely on things that can be tested and observed.
Not of 50 pages in a book of stories.
As long as you keep your "creation science" out of the public
classrooms and colleges and in your silly ones, that's ok with me.
But leave the real science to other people.
Who are scientists.

The US attacked Iraq in a war of aggression. Very similar to the USSR

before
we had declared war with Japan. Did we, claiming we were neutral in the
conflict
in Europe, fully support the English by supplying them with much needed

As long as AMERICANS are suffering IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY you idiot, who gives
a ***** about them? Ever heard of a revolution moron? Let them fight their own
battles. ***** you mindless cuntservatives are beyond pathetic sometimes...as
soon as our troops are gone civil war will break out without question no
matter how well we train Iraqi troops...problem is our troops have no way out
right now so civil war over there is inevitably on hold.
Saddam could have been taken out with mercenaries never tied to U.S. policy,
without Bush knowing, Iran/Contra ring a bell? One of Bush's misc. puppets
could have done the job, taken the fall, come out of prison, wrote a book
getting rich the Re-puke-lick-can way and then ending up with his own radio
and/or TV gig i.e.; Ollie North, G. Gordon Liddy, etc.
This President is an idiot based on his own idiotology which makes this a
religious war 1st, a war for oil (access) 2nd (tied for 1st actually) and a
war for freedom last and least...
Bush's contention will be that the war was won because they had elections and
it was OK we lost over 1,400 boys and girls leading up to them. At this point

No, of course not. Those newly trained troops will be supporting the new
Saddam/Dictator/Puppet Government that we put in power once we're gone. How
do you think Saddam got started? Or, Noriega, or the Shah of Iran, etc.,
etc.

Our President Bush has save the lives of the thousands of Iraqs that
would of been killed and tortured in Saddams prisons and rape rooms.
Let's see. take out Saddam to save 1,000's yet let insurgents into Iraq
like a failed dam flooding in to kill EVERYBODY by the
1,000's...hmmm...WOW,
what a great concept. Sounds like Brother Bush all right ;)
Think in tens of thousands...perhpas hundreds of thousands. Think of all
those who may not be killed, but were jailed and tortured, and who would
have
continued to
be killed and tortured as long as Saddam and his sons would have been in
power. Think
about generations of Iraqi's who would have been killed and tortured as
long
as
Saddam and his sons were in power.
As long as AMERICANS are suffering IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY you idiot, who
gives
a ***** about them? Ever heard of a revolution moron? Let them fight their
own
battles. ***** you mindless cuntservatives are beyond pathetic
sometimes...as
soon as our troops are gone civil war will break out without question no
matter how well we train Iraqi troops...problem is our troops have no way
out
right now so civil war over there is inevitably on hold.
Saddam could have been taken out with mercenaries never tied to U.S.
policy,
without Bush knowing, Iran/Contra ring a bell? One of Bush's misc. puppets
could have done the job, taken the fall, come out of prison, wrote a book
getting rich the Re-puke-lick-can way and then ending up with his own
radio
and/or TV gig i.e.; Ollie North, G. Gordon Liddy, etc.
This President is an idiot based on his own idiotology which makes this a
religious war 1st, a war for oil (access) 2nd (tied for 1st actually) and
a
war for freedom last and least...
Bush's contention will be that the war was won because they had elections
and
it was OK we lost over 1,400 boys and girls leading up to them. At this
point
who the hell knows how many more will die and be maimed for life which is
over 10,000 on the American side alone. Not one or one million Iraqi votes
are worth a SINGLE American life or maiming EVER.
Reports are coming out now asking the world to help America pay our
debts -
ROFL...the next two or three generations are fucked, just plain fucked.
Come back and visit us in a year or two, and we will see what Iraq looks
like then.

And he did that by killing thousands of Iraqi civilians. Kind of
ironic.
(Or, Iranic if you want a bad pun.)
http://www.iraqbodycount.net/
Yep, and "we" killed hundreds of thousands of people during the second
World
War.
Would you say that Japan, Germany, Italy are worse off as a result of
us
waging war
with them.
The major difference being that those nations attacked us and declared
war
on us. We killed Iraqi civilians based on lies. Iraq did not attack the
US.
The US attacked Iraq in a war of aggression. Very similar to the USSR
invasion of Afghanistan about 30 years ago that we opposed.
<snip WWII B.S.>
I thought we were talking about Iraq. Try to stay on subject or bugger off.

Well, not, that sort of depends on what the end result is, it seems to me.
How many "combatants"
died during the Civil War and during the First World War. How many
"combatants" and "non-
combatants died durint the Second World War. Would you say that all those
people who died, died
in vain?
