Sin |
"I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now,
I beseech thee, O LORD, take away the iniquity of thy
servant; for I have done very foolishly" (2 Samuel
24:10).
"I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for
I have sinned against thee" (Psalms 41:4).
"Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me
from my sin" (Psalms 51:2).
"We have sinned, and have done perversely, we have
committed wickedness" (1 Kings 8:47).
"Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret
sins in the light of thy countenance" (Psalms 90:8).
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to
forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
"He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned,
and perverted that which was right, and it profited
me not; He will deliver his soul from going into the
pit, and his life shall see the light. Lo, all these
things worketh God oftentimes with man, To bring
back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with
the light of the living" (Job 33:27-30).
"I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity
have I not hid. I said, I will confess my
transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the
iniquity of my sin. Selah. For this shall every one
that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou
mayest be found" (Psalms 32:5-6).
"He will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our
iniquities" (Micah 7:19).
"He shall save his people from their sins" (Matthew
1:21).
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth
sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth
not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be
free indeed" (John 8:34-36).
"Sin shall not have dominion over you" (Romans 6:14).
"Sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his
desire, and thou shalt rule over him" (Genesis 4:7).

Sin is a creation of man - not by any god.
The objective evidence is that no gods created man but quite the opposite;
that man created numerous imaginary gods!
Gods, Devils, Saints, Angels, Spirits, Heavens, Hells, Sin, Goblins, Ghosts,
Wizards, Witches etc. all are nothing more than the figments of peoples
imaginations.

......and sin will be there as long as homo sapiens walk this earth [which may
not be for too long]
Sin has been something for us to face since prehistoric times and in the
absence of laws and law enforcement man made his first simple laws and made up
gods to enforce them.
nothing changes
