Yep, that vaunted Christian moral superiority

This letter is in regards to the article "Ex-church elder faces 10
years in prison," Nov. 14, concerning the elder at College Park Church
who pleaded guilty to child molestation. The church leaders asked the
congregation to support him. I understand giving his wife support; she
has the misfortune of being married to a convicted child molester. But
asking a congregation (including families with children) to show him
support is showing a great lack of judgment, intelligence and
leadership. The congregation should be showing the victim's family
support. They were left with no choice but to leave the church.
This is a perfect example of why our crime rate is so bad. We have
people asking the public to support the convicted criminals and they
forget about the victims and families.
