NEW LONDON -- A former Norwich pastor convicted of molesting a young
female church member continues to receive an outpouring of support
from friends and family.
Charles Johnson, 53, the former pastor at Norwich Assembly of God,
faces up to 30 years in prison at his Feb. 6 sentencing. At a trial in
December, he was convicted of first-degree assault and risk of injury
to a minor.
