Operation cancelled
My daughter was admitted into hospital with severe pain in her leg. The
doctors ran a number of tests and were planning to operate the next day. I
contacted my cell leader and members of my cells who prayed for her to be
healed. The next day she was completely healed and the doctors were amazed
at her speedy recovery.

People on my Evangelism of 3 list have come to Christ!
Two people on my Evangelism of 3 list came to Christ over Christmas. In
cell, we had prayed for people of our Evangelism of 3 list for approximately
5 weeks. Sam and Jennae (the people on my list of 3) both knew that I was a
Christian and were keen to know more about me. I invited them to church for
the first time during the Christmas season where they both gave their lives
to Jesus! Hooray!
Sam's sister is a Christian who has been praying for her for several years
as had Jennae's mother who is also a Christian. I think that I reaped where
I did not sow! Now all they have to do is to grow!

God helped me stop smoking
I would like to thank the Lord for everything that He has done in my life,
so far. He has given me the strength to give up smoking. Everyday He gives
me the strength to say 'No' to temptation and overcome the urge. I would
also like to thank Him for providing my wife and I with a flat of our own. I
also want to thank Him for giving me a wonderful wife who is always there
for me. Thank You Lord!

God has given me purpose
Joining the cell has encouraged me to live a life of purpose, have a
personal relationship with God and to live a life that pleases Him. I've
realised the importance of setting goals-something that I have never done in
previous years.

I thank God for bringing me into my cell group. I have grown in the
Christian walk and have been encouraged to share the gospel with
non-Christians. I have also been trained to open a cell and be a good cell
leader. I am glad to be here to fulfil the Great Commission.

Breakthroughs in Employment
Blessed with a job
God spoke to me in a dream. He told me to sow a certain amount of money. I
began to reason in my mind that I didn't have the money. Then the scene in
the dream changed and a man I had worked for in December was calling me to
work for him. When I woke the next day I called the man and he asked me to
meet up with him. When we met he offered me a job with the same amount of
money I needed in order to sow the seed that God had asked me for in the
dream.

God provided a job
In January 2004, I was at a real low point in my life, financially,
emotionally and in other areas. I was new in my cell group, in the church
and in this country. I was looking for a job. I tried any and every job that
I could get because I was desperate. I even tried jobs where I ended up not
being paid. I started seeking God and after a while thought of returning
home to South Africa because I was not only responsible for myself but also
for my wife. I also thought that it would be easier for both of us. Anyway,
I went on an Encounter and met with God. On the Tuesday after the Encounter,
I received a letter offering me a job with London Underground. That was
truly God's work.

Proving God in the tithe
God provided me with a good-paying job against all odds after I came to
London for less than 2 months. Clive Pick's teaching on tithing touched me
and so I made a faith pledge. Within 2 weeks I got a job that will pay me
£5,000 more than I had expected to receive. Also, joining a cell group has
made me more accountable to my church and I have a better quiet time with
God.

The spirit of excellence
I started a new job recently and have just finished my first major project.
The feedback on my performance is that I did a stellar and superb job. This
was all new to me and I am grateful that God enabled me to do well.
