The Catholic invention of a Savior who can't save : Purgatory and Limbo |
the dogmas of Purgatory and Limbo state boldly that the Savior failed
at Calvary.
this is a belief in a Savior who cant save which is so deeply imbedded
in the hearts of the reprobate that its belief proves once and for all
that such know not God and are fully devoted to accomplishing the
' unfinished ' work of Christ through their own efforts.
good works through a system of ' sacraments' on the part of the
adherent plus the unfinished work of Christ at Calvary results in
salvation.
this belief certainly makes it clear why the keeping of idols is part
and parcel of those who believe they can gain entrance to heaven on
their own efforts... being surrounded by all these idolic ' helpers '
make it all the more possible the ' faithful ' have a chance to
multiply their goodness so as to be worthy of entering eternal life.
which, by the way, is not a conscience guarantee in this dogma. so
efforts are continuous... the keeping of and worshipping of idols must
go on for life.
purgatory and limbo also mean that God is not omnipotent. He can not
save to the uttermost without the intervention of man. His will is
bound. His purpose frustrated. He sent a Savior who was not capable
to accomplish redemption for the lost. He needs the help of mighty
man to ' burn out ' sins the Savior couldn't forgive by His atonement.
Abraham had to burn in the torments of Purgatory until the Savior who
failed at Calvary came many centuries later to add to his purification
so as to release him fully clean enough to enter the glory of God in
heaven.
well, Abraham had a lot of company since all of the Old Testament
believers where in Purgatory with him awaiting the failure at Calvary
to appear.
this is that old heresy of Dispensationalism.
the truly saved however discard these heresies outright. they have an
omnipotent God in heaven who has accomplished all He set out to do at
Calvary... without the help of man in any way. the shed blood of
Christ is of infinite worth in the eyes of God and saves to the
uttermost those whom God purposes to save.
there is no call to keep idols and worship them on the part of the
believer since faith rests on the finished work of Christ. he trusts
in God's Word and is filled with His Holy Spirit, who consciously
convinces him that God has mercy on him and has cleansed him of all
unrighteousness.
that through no contribution on his part did the child of God ever add
to the finished work of Christ by some act of positive volition so he
could be worthy then to approach our Most Holy Father.
belief otherwise is to fall for that old line of the adversary the
devil who said ' you will be like God '.
belief in purgatory and limbo are all part of the scheme of
Indulgences... a system to keep the congregation under bondage to
superstition and bound to this dogma in order to bring them into
church and keep them paying their offerings.
its a form of pay to play.
the fact that these return to do Indulgences confirms that they know
they are sinners, unworthy and unwholesome in the sight of God...yet
going a step further to invent a pay to play religion.
thanks be to God that by the in filling of His Holy Spirit the elect
are not duped by such dogmas so foreign to sound doctrine that by
exposing such to the Light it is shown as the works of the devil.
there is no verse which says Christ failed at Calvary therefore man
has to pay by conscience torment for sins committed which Christ did
not pay for.
the fact of the matter is that those espousing such non-Biblical
nonsense have schemed up a method to be forgiven by their own good
works.
