The Catholics don't even believe their own ' Saints '... they call Peter a liar... Joh. 20:6,7 |
" Simon Peter therefore also *came, following him, and entered the
tomb; and he *beheld the linen wrappings lying there,
and the face-cloth, which had been on His head, not lying with the
linen wrappings, but rolled up in a place by itself. " Joh. 20:6,7

here was have the eye witnesses to the fact that Jesus was buried in
2 clothes, not one, which makes the Catholic relic of the Holy Shroud
a phony.
how is it that they call their most renowned church father a liar ?
simple, they are not of the truth and hold dear the things of this
world since they are without faith.
" believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved "
Acts 16:31
" and as many as had been appointed to eternal life, believed."
Acts 13:48

Hello,
As one raised in Catholicism I know the reason why they do such
things. They put their Church teachings and traditions above the
Bible. (for example, Purgatory, celibacy for priests etc) Although
many of them are sincere in their beliefs (like I was), they are
misleading themselves with such an approach.
The Bible even prophesied about such religions existing in the last
days at 1 Ti 4:1-4. The Catholic Bible reads:
"1. Now the Spirit explicitly says that in the last times some will
turn away from the faith by paying attention to deceitful spirits and
demonic instructions
2. through the hypocrisy of liars with branded consciences.
3. They forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods that God
created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know
the truth.
4. For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be
rejected when received with thanksgiving, " (NAB)

Perhaps you can explain then how the other three gospels make
absolutely no reference to this visit to the tomb by Simon Peter, and
also absolutely no reference to the face-cloth either.
Are you suggesting that the other gospel writers are liars?
