"The "Christian" Right ISN'T. Either one. It is the **Antithesis" of Christianity. |
Hate is not a family value. And it has nothing to do with what
Jesus taught His followers, either. His KEY command to them
was for them to love and have compassion for their neighbors.
The cult of the Religious Radical Right comprises only a
mere 6% of the USA's professing Christians, and a far smaller
percentage of those in other nations; usually less than 1%. (I've
fully documented this is some other recent and detailed posts.)
Those folks are comprised of PSEUDO-Christians and deluded
Christians who have ben CONNED by the lying propaganda and
]scare tactics that constantly are spewed by the oligarchical
leadership of the cult... Jerry Falwell (who *started* the loathsome
movement), D. James Kennedy, Beverly La Haye, James Dobson,
Donald Wildmon, Chuck Colson, Gary Bauer, and Cal thomas,
among some lesser ones, and hordes of sympathetic church
leaders. It takes a LOT of hatefulness, lack of intelligence, or
both, for a person to ignore or live in denial of ALL of the relevant
FACTS, in order to be a lemming of the RRR cult.
An example of the scare tactics the leaders employ: the LIE
that "traditional" marriage somehow needs to be "defended"
against same-sex couples being included. Such utter bullcrap
would fool very FEW people capable of normal levels of thinking,
since it is OBVIOUS that **no** opposite-sex couple's marriage
could possibly be negative limpacted in ANY way if a cohabiting
same-sex couple gets married. It takes a LOT of ignorance (or
bigotry... but then, ignorance normally is a prerequisite for being
a bigot) to fall for such tripe on the part of the RRR.
Since 83% of Americans are *professing* Christians, that means
that 5% of all Americans old enough to think about such things are
RRR cultists. Is that a problem? Yes -- because...
RRR : society :: 5% arsenic solution : glass of drinking water
Food for thought. Low intelligence and gullibility go together.
The IQ of 5% of the population is under 70. It would be very inter-
esting to know how closely those two sets overlap... (??)
It would be hard to be more UN-Christian than the average
RRR cultist. That cult -- which desperately claims to be Christian,
so as to cloak itself in whatever remnants of Christianity's image
remains respectable after they've inadvertently portrayed IT as
being hateful, with their high-profile hatefulness and ignorance --
is truly the ANTITHESIS of Christianity

The "Christian Right" is neither.

Hate is not a family value.
Why do you do it so much then?
I guess that's why YOU go around screaming "***** YOU!" so
frequently,
eh?
Only when I feel like it.
The "Christian Right" is neither.
Any proof?
And, if you want to prove your statement I expect you to cite
Biblical
passages of Christian teachings, and then to show me where the
teaching
failed rather than individuals.
Prove there is any validity to those 'teachings'.
More escapism/avoidance?
Not at all.
You are avoding my statement which preceded your vain attempt to
discredit
Christian teachings.
I am not trying to discredit anything. I am simply pointing out
facts. And it is a fact that none of your so-called 'christian
teachings' can be verified as based upon any fact or verifiable truth.
Exactly like everything else in your and any other religion.
Israel can not be verified to exist?
Of course it exists, but that existence proves nothing about any
religion. Even though it has a state religion.
Are you that ignorant of the Bible?
Just a request to support " teaching failed rather than
individuals."
I typed, "I expect you to cite Biblical passages of Christian teachings,
and
then to show me where the teaching
failed rather than individuals."
Since I do not waste time with mythology I have no interest in doing
so. Why quote from a source that is unverified?
Israel is myth?
The existence of a country proves nothing.
Nothing at all?
Where'd you come up with that lie?
You then attempted, in vain, to turn the question around without showing
me
any proof of an Anti-Christian assertion.
No, I am simply making a direct request: Prove there is any validity
to those 'teachings'. You have not done so.
Israel.
Nope. Failure, as expected.
When you have nothing truthful to go on you resort to lying.

What is your definition of good?
He is for evil and against good.
Chilton is to be hated because it is how he treats others.
Now you are encouraging others to hate.
How do you know how he treats people in person?
Why should anyone hate anyone? Has hatred ever solved any problem
peacefully?

As for the Ten Commandments on public property, where is the transgression
of the First Amendment in having them on disdplay?
Some think it to be government's respect of an establishment of religion;
yet, imo, the writers of the Constitution were only dealing with
Christianity at the time, and were not considering any other religion; and,
they really meant that no one sect of Christianity; e.g., Quakerism,
Puritanism, Catholicism, Prostestantism, would be named the official
religion of the USA.
Maybe they did not write the First Amendment to mean what would indicate to
us what they really meant then.
With that said, I am not against the government having laws exalted in our
nation.
Why do they even need to call it the Ten Commandments, then?
They could call it a tablet of laws.
What is wrong with the laws which forbid adultery, murder, covetousness,
false witness?
What is wrong with honoring your parents?

What rights of YOURS is it denying, South Carolina Lunatic?
Making your religion the law of the land forces your creed on everyone
else.
The law of the land already dictates Free Exercise of Religion.
....which doesn't say what you want it to say.
The law of the land already protects the religious in this nation.
Not like you think it does. It doesn't mean you can push your delusionary
***** on anyone if they don't consent to you bothering them. If you think
you're so right, try that and see how long it takes until someone decides to
pound you even more senseless than you already are.
No one, as far as I know, is trying to dictate their religion as the law of
this land.
That's because you refuse to look around or be honest about what you're trying
to do.
We could invoke the Code of Hammurabi I guess, but I wouldn't recommend it.
You'd try and force that on 300 million people? Have fun with that exercise
in futility, even though it'd be beneficial to the rest of us, as the time you
spent dueling that windmill is time you wouldn't have to cause people problems
in real life.
As for the Ten Commandments on public property, where is the transgression
of the First Amendment in having them on disdplay?
Where does it specify the State is supposed to be promoting ANY religion at
our expense, precisely?
Some think it to be government's respect of an establishment of religion;
yet, imo, the writers of the Constitution were only dealing with
Christianity at the time, and were not considering any other religion; and,
they really meant that no one sect of Christianity; e.g., Quakerism,
Puritanism, Catholicism, Prostestantism, would be named the official

Wandering off into your psychosis again, eh? Provide the cites to support
that assertion, or run away as usual and show that you're the crackheaded
lunatic you act like in this forum.
Maybe they did not write the First Amendment to mean what would indicate to
us what they really meant then.
Maybe they wrote it to really irritate psychotic busybodies like you.
With that said, I am not against the government having laws exalted in our
nation.
Fortunately, you don't get to decide that for anyone but yourself.
Why do they even need to call it the Ten Commandments, then?
Because that's what it's come down to us as.
They could call it a tablet of laws.
Do you have any point to make, or do you just pound your keyboard to say
something, no matter how moronic?
What is wrong with the laws which forbid adultery, murder, covetousness,
false witness? What is wrong with honoring your parents?
What's wrong with the setup we have now, where (in theory, anyway) the people
decide that for themselves?

Hate is not a family value.
Why do you do it so much then?
Why do you fear what he wrote so much that you need to delete
it?
I don't fear what he wrote. I was showing what Chilton is
really
about. He is about HATE. He hates good. He is for evil and
against good. Chilton is to be hated because it is how he
treats
others.
Christian love?
Yes.

You got a problem with equal measure teachings?
I have a problem with someone wanting to make their religion the law
of the land.
So, why aren't you bitching about same-sex marriage and abortion on
demand
being the law of the land?
Because same-sex marriage and abortion aren't being forced on anyone who
chooses not to engage in those actions.
Absolutely untrue. Taxes, insurance.
What rights of YOURS is it denying, South Carolina Lunatic?
You typed 'forced'.
What about taxing and charging others is not akin to usury?
Making your religion the law of the land forces your creed on everyone
else.
The law of the land already dictates Free Exercise of Religion.
...which doesn't say what you want it to say.
The law of the land already protects the religious in this nation.
Not like you think it does.
Why don't you read the First Amendment and go with that?
It doesn't mean you can push your delusionary
***** on anyone if they don't consent to you bothering them.
So, why be a hypocrite and expect that same-sex marriage and abortion on
demand can be forced via taxation and insurance premium charges onto those
who disagree with it?
If you think
you're so right, try that and see how long it takes until someone decides
to
pound you even more senseless than you already are.
No one like me is afraid of your vain and idle threatening innuendo.
Why did you type 'pound'?
One of these days, if you evil neanderthal types do not stop your oppressive
threatening mannerisms you will regret it.
And, there could be plenty of people here who will know who to blame if the
rebuke comes from outside our nation.
I really think you do not understand how things happen, big things.
No one, as far as I know, is trying to dictate their religion as the law
of
this land.
That's because you refuse to look around or be honest about what you're
trying
to do.
What I am trying to do?
Tell me just how you would be advertsely affected by fair, non-respecter of
persons government?
We could invoke the Code of Hammurabi I guess, but I wouldn't recommend
it.
You'd try and force that on 300 million people?
After I said I wouldn't recommend it?
Too bloody.
Have fun with that exercise
in futility, even though it'd be beneficial to the rest of us, as the time
you
spent dueling that windmill is time you wouldn't have to cause people
problems
in real life.
As for the Ten Commandments on public property, where is the transgression
of the First Amendment in having them on disdplay?
Where does it specify the State is supposed to be promoting ANY religion
at
our expense, precisely?
It doesn't.
Some think it to be government's respect of an establishment of religion;
yet, imo, the writers of the Constitution were only dealing with
Christianity at the time, and were not considering any other religion;
and,
they really meant that no one sect of Christianity; e.g., Quakerism,
Puritanism, Catholicism, Prostestantism, would be named the official
religion of the USA.
Wandering off into your psychosis again, eh? Provide the cites to support
that assertion, or run away as usual and show that you're the crackheaded
lunatic you act like in this forum.
I have no cite on it other than the heritage of the people who founded our
nation.
Maybe they did not write the First Amendment to mean what would indicate
to
us what they really meant then.
Maybe they wrote it to really irritate psychotic busybodies like you.
Not likely.
With that said, I am not against the government having laws exalted in our
nation.
Fortunately, you don't get to decide that for anyone but yourself.
Yet, the eleceted representatives get to, which is what I thought we were
supposed to abide by, even if it is something called a PBA Ban.
Why do they even need to call it the Ten Commandments, then?
Because that's what it's come down to us as.
Ok.
They could call it a tablet of laws.
Do you have any point to make, or do you just pound your keyboard to say
something, no matter how moronic?
If it seems moronic to you, then does that tell you that maybe I am trying
to communicate with someone who needs it in black and white?
What is wrong with the laws which forbid adultery, murder, covetousness,
false witness? What is wrong with honoring your parents?
What's wrong with the setup we have now, where (in theory, anyway) the
people
decide that for themselves?
Actually, the laws have much in them to punish people in the instance of
adultery.
The only problem I see with the current setup is the lack of practice of it
by the legal establishment.

That's what I've been doing all along, Sherlock. You're the one whining
because you can't force your insanity on others.
It doesn't mean you can push your delusionary ***** on anyone if they
don't consent to you bothering them.
So, why be a hypocrite and expect that same-sex marriage and abortion on

You're unable to understand the fact that no one's being forced into same-sex
marriage or to abort...and since the average marriage is done in a church and
isn't tax-supported in the first place, what the hell is your problem? It's
not like you're _ever_ going to be a participant in a marriage.
If you think you're so right, try that and see how long it takes until
someone decides to pound you even more senseless than you already are.
No one like me is afraid of your vain and idle threatening innuendo.
If you think it's such a threat, call the cops. I've given you the number
enough times by now.
Why did you type 'pound'?
Sooner or later, someone not familiar with your idiocy will conclude that
you're a threat to their safety, and they might decide to use force to defend
themselves. That's one reason I think it's a good thing that you're not
exactly in frequent contact with any of the public.
One of these days, if you evil neanderthal types do not stop your oppressive
threatening mannerisms you will regret it.
What are you going to do about it? Rant and whine some more?
And, there could be plenty of people here who will know who to blame if the

Earth to Wentzky: your tinfoil hat is defective.
I really think you do not understand how things happen, big things.
I'm definitely convinced that you understand very little outside of your
delusions.
No one, as far as I know, is trying to dictate their religion as the law of

Not likely.
It obviously irritates you, since you keep whining about it.

What the elected representatives decide on has to pass Constitutional muster,
you know.

Why should you worry about *that*, of all things? You're going to be an
eternal bachelor.
The only problem I see with the current setup is the lack of practice of it
by the legal establishment.
Oh, well, you're free to leave, if it won't change as you dictate. See ya!
