The christian god just loves it when children are killed.

WAIANAE, Hawaii -- The mother of a newborn baby accidentally smothered her
newborn daughter when she fell asleep breastfeeding early Tuesday morning,
according to police. However, the mother told KITV a different version of
events.
"I just cannot even believe this is happening. I just want to wake up and
she'll be here. She'll be here," Mary Frances Hashimoto said.
Hashimoto's husband, sister-in-law and one of her sons tried to console her
just hours after her infant daughter Jennifer died.
On the fence outside their house off Waianae Valley Road hung a pink birth
announcement. The family's sixth child was born just six days earlier.
Hashimoto told KITV that she was breastfeeding her baby in a bed at about 3
a.m.
"I was feeding her on the left side and then I fell asleep. To me, it only
felt like a few minutes," Hashimoto said. "I rubbed her little, left hand
and it was cold. So, I put the lamp on. Then I looked at her and she had
blood coming out of her nose."
Police do not suspect foul play. Authorities said she accidentally killed
her daughter by rolling over and smothering her, but the Hashimotos deny
that.
"She was on the side of me. I wasn't on her. I did not squash her. I would
never harm my baby. Never. I just want her back," Hashimoto said.
"She didn't smother her. She wasn't on top of her. We've breast fed three
other kids and this is the first time something like this happened,"
Hashimoto's husband, Harvey, said.
The couple called 911, and her husband -- who was trained in CPR on the job
as a mechanic for a landscaping company -- began infant CPR, getting
instructions from 911 ambulance dispatchers.
"And he was doing it and I was praying and begging right there, until the
ambulance came," Hashimoto said.
Paramedics took Jennifer Kehualani Hashimoto to the emergency room at
Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center, where she was pronounced dead.
Neighbors and relatives said the Hashimotos are a loving family and would
never do anything to purposely harm their children.
The medical examiner's office will perform an autopsy on Wednesday. The
final conclusions could take weeks because examiners have to perform
numerous tests to make sure the baby did not have congenital defects or any
diseases.
