how is it the Bible says that we are " without excuse "
( Ro. 1:20 ) concerning the existence of God ?
the Word of God even says " that which is known about God is
evident within them ( or, us ); for God made it evident to them.
( or, us ) " Ro. 1:19
then in what ways has God made Himself evident to us ?
here are some of them...
God has made Himself evident to man on a personal level in
creation... " The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their
expanse is declaring the work of His hands. " Ps. 19:1
by the flood of Noah... after a rain when the sun appears He sets
His rainbow in the sky as a sign of His covenant with man and the
earth not to destroy it again by a global flood. " And I establish
My covenant with you; and all flesh shall never again be cut off by
the water of the flood, neither shall there again be a flood to
destroy the earth." Gen. 9:11
Evil destruction is not the evidence of God. It's the evidence of the
Devil.
every sort of ' natural ' disaster has come upon the earth numerous
times yet the earth was not again destroyed by a global flood nor ever
will be. seeing a rainbow in the sky is seeing God's covenant kept.
The only evidence of global flood is in the Bible from a god that is
evil. Evil is not to be trusted, but to be questioned and confronted
instead.
the confusion of language is evidence of the existence of God...
" Therefore its name was called Babel, because there the LORD confused
the language of the whole earth; and from there the LORD scattered
them abroad over the face of the whole earth. " Gen. 11:9
it is not in man's best interest for him to have made from one
common language all the languages of the world. a person couldn't
even communicate with his own family, nor do business, nor form
governments. the change was immediate, not gradual, resulting in
confusion and abandonment of the tower project.
Apparently, this god does not want to grant humanity the opportunity
to reach heaven while Jesus Christ put his own life on the line to
save every good soul in this world. The contrast is astonishing.
the many languages of the world came from God confusing man's
ability to communicate with one another since having the one common
language made nothing impossible for man to achieve... " nothing which
they purpose to do will be impossible for them. " Gen. 11:6
Yet, it's never explained to us why such ability to accomplish
everything can be a bad thing. Is this the evidence of a god that
favors ignorance over wisdom and the knowledge of truth? I think so.
No, this can not be the evidence of the good Almighty God. It's the
evidence of the exact opposite of the good Almighty God.
God has chosen Abraham the Hebrew to be His own peculiar people,
known world wide as such... " you shall be a peculiar treasure to Me
above all the nations. " Ex. 19:5
And the reason of that is Abraham was foolish enough to kill his own
son just to please this evil monster. Is it safe to say that Abraham
had made a pact with the devil in this case? Poor Abraham, he doesn't
even have the guts to protect his own son. Even a mother wolf would do
better than him in protecting her young.
God has made the Arabs, who were born of Abraham, a people who's...
" hand [will be] against everyone, And everyone's hand [will be]
against him; And he will live to the east of all his brothers." ( Gen.
16:12 ) as it is this day.
because God has promised Abraham that he would be blessed by God,
both the Jews and the Arabs enjoy the earthly blessings of riches to
this day... the Jews wise in business and the Arabs rich in oil.
Gen. 12:2 and Gen. 17:20
This is certainly true. The worldly wealthy has always been the best
weapon of choice for the evil lord. Remember the temptations of Jesus
in the desert?
God brought the Israelites out of Egypt with mighty works of power
and this is known world wide. the event of the exodus from Egypt also
resulted in the giving of the Ten Commendments written on tablets of
stone.
this Law of God is written in the hearts of everyone without
exception and our conscience bears witness to accuse or defend us in
every thing we do. Ro. 2:14-16
No, I don't have the ten commandments written in my heart. Never
really interested and can't memorize it either. According to modern
standard, the ten commandments is not even close to an acceptable
moral standard both socially and spiritually. It might be good enough
to the ancient goat herders, but it's too primitive to the modern
eyes. God's heaven law is nothing like it.
